Sounds like it would literally take ages to balance into some workable piece of fighting game.
At least, Monolith could provide with another formidably kick-ass opening.

Doesn't Nintendo own Monolith now? That's the company that made those games with that "KOS-MOS" character in them, right?

Yes and yes. Monolith was also behind the story portions of the Baten Kaitos series, I believe.

^ I found a new trailer for the game, and it looks like MegaMan is officially in the game!

...except it's that wierd one from the Legends/DASH games. Ew.

I'd rather have that than Zero or Megaman.exe.

Classic, X, and EXE are all better than Mega Man Legends. In character design alone, I think anyways.

Personally, I'd have sprung for either Classic, X, or "Model X" from the ZX games.

Wierd thing is, Legends MegaMan was used in the last Capcom-related crossover game (NamcoXCapcom), too. Maybe it's a new trend?

Maybe Inafune is responsible for Dash Rockman appearing in many games to rally up fans to remember them and write letters to Capcom to greenlight a Rockman Dash 3 so he can finally make a 3rd one.

Personally, I think the Classic version should be playable and Tron Bonne should be the representative of Rockman Dash in any crossover fighting games.

Oh my fucking God! The Doronbo gang are in it! Finally I feel comfortable discussing obscure Japanese intellectual properties!

That's good, because if you didn't I'd have to question why you post here at all.

I suck at obscure anime. I'm just glad G-Force is there.

I'd love to see some Amaterasu and Viewtiful Joe there. Oooo, or Bionic Commando.

I'm still holding out hope for something Speed Racer-related.

I want Zenderman to get involved. I've totally got a stiffy for steam locomotives with faces on.

You'd probably have a fangasm if they announced Thomas the Tank Engine vs. Capcom, wouldn't you.

And Dante.
I mean, Dante. I'd probably prostitute myself to get the PCB if he happens to be in it.
Oh, and maybe Edward Fokker too.

I'd like Zack & Wiki to be playable. Imagine a combo attack involving turning the hand-crank counter-clockwise but not before moving two apples to balance the weight, or some such.

Phoenix Wright is my big hope. He could fight by throwing out evidence (the puns just write themselves) & having a bunch of assist characters.

I'm glad Joe is in it but yeah phoenix wright would be awesome. He should just be able to yell "objection" and it should stop any move.

I bought Viewtiful Joe 2 and never got around to playing past the third level. It seemed to lack something the first game had.

Yeah, I know what you mean. In Viewtiful Joe 1 it had better balance between puzzles and fighting, most of the puzzles were based in the fighting. In 2 it felt like you had to fight, solve a puzzle, fight, solve a puzzle and so on. Also the bosses in 2 were not as fun or memorable as the first games. The bosses in 2 I felt stuck way too much to a pattern.

That being said I still enjoyed both of them.
