I must give MEGAPROPS to JSRF's soundtrack. Not that it would be hard to mess up with the game's soundtrack... But it's just so damn awesome.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind Sonic having a JSR/F soundtrack in the next game.

In fact, I've sort of been wanting a playlist of songs in a Sonic game like JSR instead of just one per stage. I mean, I suppose there should be one per stage for tradition, but I'd like a radio option that would let you listen to 12 or so other tracks that'd work for any level in the game.

JSRF is a pretty flawless game anyways, so I'm not surprised it has a flawless soundtrack.

But if a tune works for every level in the game, it can't be very atmospheric. Atmosphere can be a major factor in how a platformer plays, especially one with such a broad range of environments. You'd be hard pressed to find a tune that flows from lush jungle to apocalyptic space station.

Yeah, but all of the levels in JSR were city centered environments. There were no lush jungles or apocalyptic space stations, and generally all the songs did a very good job of flowing to fit any level.

Doesn't that just validate Ritz's position?

Which I believe to be a true/correct one, if it matters.

And I lost to him on Survivor?

Ritz point is very valid, plus would you really want to be shuffling through different tracks while running at top speed.
