Disney World isn't that spectacular. A couple of the attractions at Epcot are kind of interesting in a quaint sort of way, but I'm pretty sure it's not the happiest place on Earth. I sure hope it isn't, anyway.
That happened to me with PSO. I went through, like, half a dozen of them before I finally found one that worked on my system. That was the only game I ever had a problem with, though, and once I found one that worked I never had any trouble with it. Whazzup with that?I think I must have gone through 4 seperate copies of Sonic Adventure before they finally got me one that worked right!

The story they gave me at the store was that early DC disks were sometimes incompatible with newer systems. Maybe the reverse was also true?
The DC I bought was brand new, 1 1/2 years after the system came out... but the 4 copies of Sonic Adventure were all used copies, probably from launch time. I seem to remember, though, that they had a lot of problems with bad discs at launch in general...

d00d where do you live? Lego Land is less than 30 minutes away from my city too.Poison Eggroll wrote:However, I have never been to Lego Land, which is one city away from me and takes less than thirty minutes to get to.
It's pretty cool if you like Legos. I applied for a job there, but this creepy fuck and I were both intervied at the same time and I never heard from them.

All I know is that my old copy of Soul Calibur doesn't fucking work anymore.Esrever wrote:The story they gave me at the store was that early DC disks were sometimes incompatible with newer systems. Maybe the reverse was also true?

I would pay a lot of money to see drunken pirates in a war against redneck bears.Y'know, when Disney World opened the Pirates of the Caribbean went out of control and pillaged Country Bear Hall. Or, or something like that.
Actually, come to think of it, all I'll problably have to do is buy Kingdom Hearts 4. At this rate, that matchup is inevitable.

Or you get one of those build-your-own-arcade-machine kits online and emulate it with WinKAWAKS...smiths32 wrote:You could always buy the Saturn version which is supposed to be the most superior port but it'll probably set you back some bucks. There's always the GBA version as well but that kind of speaks for itself.

Actually, from what I heard they include two peripherals with that set which would make the MSRP around 450 dollars. So yeah, they are still trying to fuck people, but not as hardcore.Ritz wrote:What.

The 360 came out in Europe today and I bagged myself a premium 360 with 3 games and a wireless network adaptor. The adaptor was a bit pricey but a necessity if I ever wanted to get my 360 online. My TV & console are just too far away from my PC and internet connection. Overall I'm very impressed.
Not only does the console look sexy but it has a plethora of features and getting connected to Live basically makes the games complete. I spent a good hour on Gotham TV watching races and doing time attack on the test circuit to try and get my rank on that lap up. Currently I'm the 100th and something fastest person on the test track in a Jaguar... in the WORLD!
Games are no longer about playing through for your own enjoyment, now you can try and be the best at a game and get instant recognition for it. Even beating a game 100% increases your gamer score meaning you actually have an incentive to play through and explore any hidden nook and crannies after the story has been beaten.
The PS3 has a hell of a job on its hands.

Whoa, sorry I missed that. Never mind, I still hate you.
I am excessively liberal. Therefore, I would like to see Bill Gates burn in hell for his flagrant monopoly attempts. On a less important note, he crushed Steve Jobs. Bastard. On a completely unrelated note, iPod is still the top MP3 player in existence, and there I'm actually in the majority. Similarly, iTunes is so popular that they had to make a PC version. Hah.
X-Box sucks. Thankfully, it isn't terribly successful. If so, then we'd lose Nintendo and Playstation. That just isn't cool.

Observe.
I don't give a shit if it's outdated now.
The X-Box 360 is not only overpriced, its fucking huge. I have a computer at home which is faster and has more memory and better graphics, and it's 1/6 of the size: MacMini.
And has anyone else noticed that "X-Box 360" is blindingly oxymoronic?
