The Beatles
Pink Floyd
The Pixies
Frank Zappa
Paul Oakenfold
Jeff Wayne

I also liked King Crimson, but only the songs they did before they had that bloody new wave revalation and turned into pansies. If you've seen This Is Spinal Tap you'll know the kind of thing I mean.

My Favorite Band:

and more
Maceo Parker
Miles Davis
Bill Ransom
Pat Metheny Group
Bob Marley

Rebirth Brass Band

But still, Yellowjackets is the best band I've ever heard.

Spyro Gyra is seriously the name of a band? I'll have to check them out simply for the awwsomeness of their name.

Rush
Dropkick Murphys
Beatles (almost mandatory to put them on any favorites list)
Bob Marley
Steve Millar Band (sp?)
Slum Village
System of a Down
ZZ Top (My dad once waited on them in Church's Shoes)
Beck
TSO (great around Christmas)
ELO
Judas Priest
Nirvana
and on occasion, Disturbed

EDIT: Thanks, Smiths, I totally forgot about Guns n' Roses or Slash! Consider them added!

I'll add more to this later.

Guns N' Roses are definately my favourite band , shame that they haven't released anything new since 1999 (methinks anyway). Chinese Democracy (their next album) will hopefully be released some time during my life-span (though my expectations of its success aren't too great). Can't say I like Velvet Revolver much though- which is a shame because Slash was the heart and soul of Guns N' Roses.

Anyway, honourable mention also goes to:
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Beastie Boys
The Zutons
Green Day

And a lot of other stuff- I'm not picky when it comes to music.

I spent Sunday and Monday nights recording all my Manic Street Preachers albums onto my X-Box. Then I spent two-and-a-half hours last night naming them all. Well, except for their latest album, I couldn't find the case so there's ten or twelve X's at the bottom of the playlist. My thumbs still ache, but it was worth it.

I wasn't really a big fan of Queen until a few months ago - I always thought they were great up to then, but, y'know, same way I think Mozart is great. Then I got their Greatest Hits and have barely stopped playing it. It's also on the 'Box. I kinda prefer Under Pressure, Breakthru and Radio Ga-Ga over Raphsody, though. That'd be about number... six.

Kylie. No really, I like a lot of her songs.

There's an Irish band called JJ72 that I really like, they've only put out two albums and the second one was at least three years ago, but hopefully they're still around.

Gorillaz are great. Their new one is fabtacular.

Yeah, the video's got windmills in it but I can't remember the name of the song. It's good, though.

Have you got the rest of the album, Pop?

I'm curious to hear it, but I'm weary of a Gorillaz album without Dan the Automator.

I, too, am curious. However, I am not going to subtly point towards my location as an explanation for my curiousity.

I think Appetite For Destruction was far superior to Contraband, but I think it's good that Slash is branching out.

Ooh, dunno. Harsh. El Manana is a good track, too.

I quite like it. It is quite bland though. Then again, so was there first album, aside from the singles.

Fire From The Monkey's Head is good though. Very much like "The Point".

The first album had more songs that I liked. So far, no single track on the new album has jumped out at me at all. I guess I'll listen to them individually, but I don't think there's anything on this disc up to par with the last album.
