And there are adoption agencies so even if abortions are made illegal and the mother is a law abiding citizen then she can just dump her baby on somebody else' doorstep. She still doesn't need to take any responsibility.

Yeah, because adoption agencies work so well. Every child sent into one is eventually given a happy and healthy home.

It's the "I'm going to do whatever the fuck I want and then if anything unpleasant or uncomfortable happens as a result then I'm just going to eliminate it so I don't have to actually deal with it. Then I'm going to do it all over again." attitude

That's fine. If that works for you - don't get an abortion. But, you know - for everyone who doesn't live by your particular code of morals, I don't see why that should stop them. That's the whole reason I'm pro-abortion.

The idea of someone else forcing their moral code on someone who doesn't affect them in any way sickens me.

There's no point in arguing over it. Nothing's going to be accomplished. I have so many responses I could say about this, but I won't. Arguing like this on this type of forum just makes people bitter at each other. And it's not even bieng argued in a constructive way; no one will ever change anyone else's mind like this. Besides, in the end, not everyone's going to be satisfied.

I also think it's really stupid how innocent threads get turned into bitter arguments.

But don't take this the wrong way, this is the <i>only</i> gaming forum that I've ever seen where people are open enough to actually talk like this. It shows that people aren't inhibited and feel that others will actually listen to them. Also that people think that the things others have to say are important. I'm just saying that it doesn't have to be so harsh.

i don't get how anyone can be against abortions when it's not there child. it's like gay marriage. You don't agree with it or something but how does it in anyway affect you? It's not bothering you and it doesn't concern you if you're not gay. i basically hate everything bush stands for. he sent our troops to die in iraq for revenge and oil while in the middle of another worthwhile war in afganistan hunting osama who bombed the world trade center which bush had some prior hints about BUT WAS BUSY KISSING THE SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY'S ASSES THE DUMBASS!
