I actually think that going to war was the right thing to do. (Lying about the reasons was not, however.) Look at Japan; they're doing pretty well at the moment. 50 Years ago the USA was foricbly changing the culture in Japan. And now Japan seems to be pretty happy, if a bit crazy.

My expectation is that Iraq will most likely turn out the same way. While imposing your will onto others is never something to take lightly, my gut tells me that this will turn out similarly to Japan. Just imagine the fucked up games that would get produced in 40 years from top notch Iraqi development houses!

Well, for one, Japan kind of, you know, actually attacked us. We had a good reason to go over there and ruin their shit. We've had hundreds of soldiers die in Iraq. Yes, they enlisted in the military, so fucking what? That doesn't mean their expendable, and they signed up to defend our country, not to go fight Iraqis because the county "kind maybe could have" posed a threat to the US.

And on the Vietnam thing, if you didn't go that's fine. That was pretty much a bullshit war as well, and if you didn't want to go, there's nothing cowardly about it. What is cowardly is coming up with cop-outs whenever asked about it. Just say "I didn't want to go," or "I had a life I didn't want to leave," or "The whole 'getting shot' thing scared me, fuck you."

I'm predicting that a sequel driven Iraqi development house will create a game "2004", where you play as an American soldier and you have to stop the Iraqis from taking over the world with their weapons of mass destruction.

Mr. Amazing Grant seems to have some interesting ideas about why I decided not to pursue this discussion any further. Unfortunately these ideas seem to conflict with reality.

"Alright, I give up."

I did not surrender my veiwpoint. By saying I wasn't going to argue doesn't mean that I am "giving up." CE also stated that he wasn't going to argue. By your mallogic, he also "gave up."

"Although I want to continue to debate things"

You have no basis for this statement and it isn't true.

"I don't know anything about,"

You have no basis for this statement and it isn't true.

"I've realized I have no way to counter your point "

Actually I had counters for every "point" (if you can even call them that) that was brought up. I actually posted them. Then I changed my mind and edited my post. I will reiterate: You have no basis for this statement and it isn't true.

"and I'll quit while I'm behind, thank you very much."

I wasn't aware this was some sort of race or contest with a winner and a loser. I always saw it as, you know, a conversation, that I decided I didn't want to partake in.

As you can see Mr. Amazing Grant, you made several assumptions in an attempt at a clever witicism. In fact what you did was state several falsehoods. Now I can't prove these to be inaccurate, but you certainly have no basis for saying them. That's pretty intellectually dishonest if you ask me.

Where did CE say that? I don't see it anywhere.

Conveniently after people started questioning your crazy babbling?

You remind me a lot of a girl I used to know from my high school. Very insecure, you see. So whenever she'd get into a debate or an argument, she would just filibuster in order to mask the fact that she had nothing to say. In this same vein, you made an unnecessairly long post to essentially say "uh, so where's your proof?"

Obviously, one can't prove such a thing, but here's what I think: you're full of yourself. You didn't have anything to contribute from the beginning, but you wanted to seem cool on an online Sonic the Hedgehog forum, so you started waving your dick around. When people called you on it, you folded.

You bit off more than you could chew then decided you weren't hungry.

Well you sure put me in my place.

My mistake it was Owen Axel: Sorry, I just felt the need to repeat that bit for some reason. I wouldn't dream of arguing against someone with that kind of stance. I'd just be wasting time if I tried, I reckon.

Handpuppet number one: I like pink highlighters.

Handpuppet number two: I like highlighters... but not pink ones!!!

HANDPUPPETS number ONE and TWO debate for hours on which highlighter is to be used, and never reach a successful conclusion.
