I'm dissapointed in Animal Crossing: City Folk, being able to chat online is the only significant change they've made. Even the city area looks fairly small.
Wii Sports Resort actually looks really good, and leaps and bounds above the last one.
Punch-Out!! looks freaking hilarious.
Dynamic Slash - I'm hoping it will be the definitive sword franchise for the Wii, finally.
Spawn Smasher looks interesting.
Takuto of Magic - Really happy to see Nintendo doing more RPGs.
Forever Blue 2: Beautiful Ocean is something I'm really looking forward to. I want more animal interaction and more explanation of the sunken city storyline.
Line Attack Heroes, I can't imagine what that's about.
I hope the Klonoa: Door to Phantomile remake is brought to the US.
Tenchu 4 might be the first entry in the series I try.
Harvest Moon: Exciting Animal March is actually the second Wii HM game, it's an expansion of Tree of Tranquility, basically - with the animal raising features expanded into owning a circus.
Rune Factory Frontier might be a good first step into the series.
Dead Rising Wii might be decent.
Sonic and the Black Knight is something I wanted when Secret Rings came out - Sonic in King Arthur's Court.
Also, Mario and Luigi 3 and Fire Emblem 1 for the US DS! : D

A remake of a 5 year old Ps2 game, a 360 port with shit graphics, and a farming title.
Besides that one game where the italian stereotype fights a blue furry, Why do people buy this console again?
I mean, I was at Wal*Mart the other day and I saw a Wii port of a Dreamcast game. A DREAMCAST game.

For the surprising amount of franchises being brought back. S&P2, Punch Out, ExciteTruck (Well ExciteBike technically...), Nights, and etc.

So am I the only one here who thinks Fragile looks awesome? (Well, awesome but for the character design.) I'm kind of expecting that to be the best game I play this year except maybe for Braid.
What exactly are they going to do with Punch Out, I wonder? The visuals are nice, but I can't see anything happening with it other than it being a straight-up remake with a new (probably retarded) control scheme.
I advise against that. Of the two dozen or so Tenchu games out there, only the first is anything more than mediocre, and I think that's mainly because it was a novelty at the time. From Software is not good for much.Tenchu 4 might be the first entry in the series I try.

I'm on the cautious side with S&P2, but all the rest seem to be mostly forgettable entries in their respective franchises. People seem to get a Wii for Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Brawl, RE4 Wii, Okami, MP3: Corruption and Treasure Island Z. Or at least that's what you would think when looking at the Metacritic's Wii scores.Edgerock wrote:For the surprising amount of franchises being brought back. Re: Mac is Back
There's so much stuff that I'm interested in that I can't keep track of it all.
I know I'm getting Tetris Play for sure. And I might pick up Metroid Prime 2, since I only rented that one when it came out on GameCube (hopefully for around $20).
(I was wondering what Nintendo would do once they started running out of titles to re-release for Virtual Console and now they announce this Wii de Asobu line and DSWare.)
For everything else, I want to see more info first.
