Re: Viva la Revolution?
I found Revolution to be the weakest season yet....though I actually liked Try, so you may want to take my opinion with a grain of salt. I liked some of the throwbacks to the older seasons (was the female fish supposed to Noonsa's wife?), the humor was as good ever, and I actually didn't mind Pokota all that much, but it really fell apart in the last couple of episodes and Zanafar ended up being a really lame villain, not to mention his final form looked like ass. Overall I couldn't dislike it to much though since it is Slayers after all.
Still haven't watched the first episode of Evolution-R, finding a subbed version was kind of a bitch but it's downloading right now.

Whoops, I meant Duclis, not Zannafar.

Might I inquire as to where you found the subbed version?

Re: Viva la Revolution?
I mean I wonder how I actually use the TV to watch television. I haven't used a TV for anything other than playing games or watching DVD's for over a decade, and now there's all kinds of weird shiznit. My TV's got a card slot for something called B-Cas (I think a card actually came with it, but I left it in the box with all the manuals I can't read), an ethernet port, at least two spiral things that look like RF jacks but are labelled differently, and some other odd ports I've yet to fully investigate. When I turn it on I get a menu system like the PS3's except with even more options that I can't read but I'd be too intimated to try even if it were all in English. It took me like half an hour just to figure out how to activate the ports I've got my games plugged into.
My TV is pretty amazing. I keep worrying that an earthquake will topple it while I'm off at work.

I wonder what kind of work someone who knows English but doesn't seem to know a lot of Japanese does in Japan.

I'm a sales agent for your mother. I don't even have to speak, I just say "Cuckooguy's mom" and they shove yen in my face. It's the easiest job ever.

Hasn't she retired? I thought that's why Pop wasn't around anymore -- he took over the family business.
