That's what I thought until I played Senko no Ronde.Segaholic2 wrote:TF2 is the best multiplayer game of last year and this year.
On the topic of Brawl, I got it on (Europe) launch day. It's great, but somehow I'm lacking the fuel to unlock everything that I had in Melee. Perhaps because the characters are all so quickly and effortlessly unlocked in SSE. :/ Still it's kind of addicting though and I'm still playing it, trying to unlock new music CDs and stages, toying around with the stage builder...
Also anyone up for some online matches? 0602-7714-3152 is my friend code (in regards of online, after being used to the comfort of Xbox Live all those anonymous random player matches and friend code shit feels even more awkward). I'll only be able to play today and tomorrow though, as of the weekend I'm departing for the Netherlands fleeing the German summer heat. My father's taking his laptop with him so I can still browse the internet but the connection will be too bad for online matches. However I know a place there with OutRun, House of the Dead 2 and Super Hang-On machines. <3

I'll play with you, my friend code is 5370-0096-4113, but since I live in Southern California their might be lag. Reply if you'd like to see how an international connection works out.

Speaking of lag, somethjing weird I experienced in Senko no Ronde. When playing with Japanese people there's always horrible lag, however I once played with someone from China and there was almost no lag. wtf.

Well played! At least due to the delay of the Europe release I can now say stuff like "You had more time to practise!" to excuse my own lack of skill.
It bothers me that my only win was because you killed yourself a second before my last life would have faded away in the far background. You're very good (or I just suck)!

Re: Bubble... bubble wrap?
Don't worry, when I used to play Brawl a lot (I stopped playing about a month ago) there were some people online who would beat me pretty easily and badly. I usually went to GameFAQs' message board because it was the fastest way to get a friend code to do a human match, and I usually played by their rules (no items, 4 stock, Final Destination, etc etc). Personally I like items on low and I don't care about what stages you choose but it was interesting playing with other people's rules.
To give an idea how much I played Brawl, I've manage to unlock everything single thing except one sticker and one trophy (the last trophy requires you need to get all stickers). For some reason I haven't bothered getting the last sticker yet.
Anyway, those were fun matches.

Woah, hey, they made a sequel to Virtua On and melded it with some sort of top down shooter? Sign me up!P.P.A. wrote:That's what I thought until I played Senko no Ronde.Segaholic2 wrote:TF2 is the best multiplayer game of last year and this year.

The Wii seems to have hit a slight dip in sales as of late, selling less than the PSP (the top selling system) in Japan. So it might actually be a lot easier than finding a US system. The Doc wrote:It's hard enough finding an American Wii. How in the sphincter of Hell are you gonna find a Japanese one?
I still play Brawl on and off and don't feel disappointed in the least. I guess my biggest complaint is that I can't find people to regularly play it with. I would play it with a friend with very specific rules (lightning mode, Final Destination, no items, 4 stock), but he's moving back to his college town next week. I would play online, but there's so much lost in the lack of communication and the game tends to lag. I've played with Cookoo Guy a few times, but otherwise I don't have any active friends online. And with random matches you never know what skill level, items, and level variety you're going to get.

Nintendo doesn't have enough stock to meet worldwide demand, so they're focusing on supplying the countries where the local currency is still actually worth something. Sorry, America!
