Wait, you don't think Parappa is all that weird, but you think Super Puzzle Fighter is super weird?tron 2.0 wrote:Bust A Groove and Super Puzzle Fighter 2
are super weird
What the fuck, man?
Thats the closest thing to a complete sentence that I've ever seen you post.tron 2.0 wrote:I Love Parappa The Rapper so it's not weird to me.
The only thing I remember about that game is if you put in your player name as "Sonic" or "Sega", the game wouldn't take it and would accuse you of being uncool. And has anyone played the SNES game Unicycle? You were a unicycle and went through Sonic like levels without hardly any powerups or anything to collect really... I think that's what it was about. On one level I think I remember racing another unicycle. Maybe it was a racing game and I jut don't remember it.
I have James Pond II. No matter how long I play that game I never seem to make any progress at all. I seems like the damn game goes on forever and is really freaking hard.-wyvern wrote:Wow - compared to all this stuff my collection seems comparatively normal. I think the wierdest I got was James Pond 2 on the megadrive, and that's not wierd so much as horribly, horribly annoying.
I have definately got to get parappa the rappa. I thought it was just your standard everyday music game with a unique art style.
I never even made it past the first set of challenges, and I had to cheat to get past the stupid "run from the wrecking ball" scene. I got to the part where you're giving oral or whatever to that chick on the ferris wheel, which I think is the last of Taneo's games. I'd really like to play the rest of the game, but I can't make my thumb vibrate fast enough.Trog13 wrote:Incredible Crisis is weird I guess. It's also really hard because they make you do things that kill your hands.
I played through the whole thing, but I did break down and use a turbo controller towards the very end, it was getting too demanding and I wanted that game done. I think Taneo's sequence was the best in the game but there were a few other good spots here and there. Is it supposed to be this hard to Japanese players, or is there just some genetic physical difference in my American hands?
