I'm still confused how everything is free if I'm Living In The City, but I'm told that nothing in the world comes for free, and that I have to Work It Out, Work It Out, Work It Out...

THESE LYRICS ARE BULLCRAP I HAVE BEEN LIED TO

We all know you like it Pop. You've been found out, admit it.

I don't even listen to the lyrics because most don't make a lot of sense, so I don't bother straining to hear it. I just like the beat.

Goddamn you, Parn, for bringing up "Work It Out"... I went running earlier and had that unholy song in my head. I didn't pass by any buses, or else I would've thrown myself if front of them.

You've got to make it real, Bo. Think about it. Talk about it. Make it happen.

Sometimes I ask myself, "What am I doing here?" I think of all the reason's, but it's still not clear.

I don't know about you, but it makes ME want to survive.

Despite finishing the game in the first day, I loved playing Sonic R. I didn't have a Battery in my Saturn, so it lastability was stretched by quite a bit.

I'd always end up playing 'Eggman Tag' in 2 player mode. Both characters are Eggman or EggRobo and you try and shoot each other in a game of Tag. fun fun fun.

Plus you could always do this:

I had the same problem. I solved it by burning everything in the sr folder over to an empty disc and then installing the game from the disc.

(Don't copy the sr folder itself, though - just everything in it)

Still no music though...*sob*

Hey, you managed to switch over that annoying flowered ground tile. (though the endless mass of light green is a bit unsettling, but whatever. ;P)

...how'd you pull that one off? I don't see that tile anywhere. *pokes around the raw files some more*

It's actually in the *.ply files, I forget the dimensions, but someone finally figured it out :)

I did the dumb thing of going out and buying Sonic R for £2.

Ok, so I installed it correctly and got to the start menu for the game but why can't I go anywhere from there apart from the Options menu?

It's the only place the thing lets me go, 3 other options have big red crosses on them. Why?

You need to go into the Jewel Race and unlock four Chaos Emeralds.

How do I get into this Jewel race?

When I'm at the title screen, pressing Return takes me to the Option menu (as it's already highlighted). No other key on the keyboard lets me access anything else.

I bought it awhile ago for Saturn from Sega-Parts. It cost me twenty bucks-- I got ripped off.

Go to options and scroll to the Jewel Practice screen. Then you have to compete for stars.

Do you actually have the CD inserted? You'll need the CD in that there computer in order to access the actual meat of the game.

When I go to Options, all I have access to are TIMES, LOAD/SAVE DATA etc. There isn't a Jewel Practice screen anywhere.

Although the title screen with the Options logo in the centre has 3 'crossed out' selections it has a 4th full of '?'s...

This isn't crossed out, but I still can't use any key on the keyboard to access it..or anything apart from the useless Options menu.

Yes the CD is in, and I can get to the Title's screen.

AAAAAGH. I feel so thick. Crap.

I bought it when it first came out. Then I bought it again when there was some deal to get it and two other PC Sonic games for $5.

I bought NiGHTS from them with an analog controller for 35 bucks. They are a ripoff, but they are also a place to get factory sealed old Sega stuff.

The Sonic R I bought wasn't sealed-- Everything inside, the manual, the insert, the CD itself, was fine, but the case was covered with dirt and pieces of scotch tape for some reason.

I did, however, get it quickly, as apparently they're based in Santa Ana, which isn't too far from here.

NiGHTs took about a week, maybe less. It took my dad another week to go down to our storage unit so I could get my Saturn, though.
