So, it turns out that according to the Magic Box, a Suikoden IV (they probably mean VI) is in the works. I think it's way too early for them to be announcing this but I guess for now I shall remain indifferent. The truth is Suikoden 5 was very well-received among the majority of Suikoden fans, so I fear the 6th iteration will follow the Suikoden 2/5 formula. But another thing I hear is that Suikoden 5 sold poorly in Japan and in the States, so they might be changing the formula a bit. Perhaps I'm just needlessly speculating so I guess I'll wait this out and see how things turn out.
