That's not to surprising considering they're both made by the same general group of people. Also, Psy-Phi looks like it's going to suck.

Yeah, Psy-Phi looks severly flawed by its gimmick. The touch screen is cool, but it looks like it totally limits what you can do, so you just kinda sit there and shoot the other guy, first to 0HP loses.
