actually, I remember having a similar glitch. In one certain spot, if you outran the screen, you'd clip into an area where there was no way out. You'd have to wait for a time over or just hit the power button and try again.

Hang on, let me dig out the cart I just acquired (which is the cart I did this on).....

....says "Not for resale" all over it, so I'm going to guess a first run. Where do you check for the version code?

Ah, Green Hill 3D. I loved it. It could have been better, yes, but I still liked it. And shame on those of you that downloaded save files. Things are a lot more fun when you actually work for them, you know?

Hell, for quite some time, the only thing keeping me from unlocking the level was an emblem or two in Chao Races. I even nicknamed the neutral chao that I was using "dumbass" because of his behavior; "Get up, dumbass! You can't sleep now! You're going to lose the race! There you go--no! Don't fall down! Stupid chao."

It probably happened in Sonic Jam. Not too hard to believe, considering it was a port. Of course, it doesn't happen every time, but it eventually made me a bit paranoid.

The fastest Sonic level? Scrambled Egg. Try slowing up there.

Stardust Speedway is pretty quick as well, though it suffers from the dreaded Sonic Advance 2 syndrome of running straight into evil and malicious stuff when you least expect it. On the other hand, it has no bottomless pits.

Chemical Plant has some problems with those...I'd love the stage if it didn't have that incredibly cheap part near the end of act 2...
