"You must find the Ring card to gain more Rings. You have a random chance of flipping over an Emerald card. You will gain one Emerald. Once you have 50+ RNG Stat and 7 Emerald CLCT Stat, you can change into "SPR". This will give you +10 to SPD, STR, BBIE, and SOZ. However, your RNG stat will fall every game minute, which translates into 2 seconds real time.

If you are fighting a boss while "SPR", see the "FIGHTING BOSS" section on Pg 220..."

I wouldn't know, since I wasn't good enough to unlock Green Hill Zone in SA2.
The GHZ in SA2 was novel and that's about it. It wasn't much fun to play because, well, it's absurd to take a 2D level that was designed to be 2D then make it 3D and expect it to be fun.

Well, they wouldn't have to be 3D replicas, just a modern version of the classic levels. What would also be cool would be the new versions of the music that went with those levels. I'd look forward to that.

How Yuji Naka got his grove back...than lost it completly

Post by Sonniku The Battousai »

Hello there. I am the new guy here, Sonniku The Battousai, a wandering poster who seeks a board to call his own. So far, I've been locked-out from The TSFMB and Adult Swim, and I've been kicked out by The SSMB and SPMB. Hopefully, nothing messed-up will happen to me here. Anywhos, the reason why Sonic, our almighty hedgehog diety, is being crucified by his own creators, is because Yuji Naka has become an idiot. You see one day, after creating the brilliant SA1, a freak accident infected all the top japaneese creators like Naka and Shigeru Miyimoto that gave them all some kinda high that gave them so many f***ing crazy ideas (Thus is why Mario got a waterpack, Link's a cartoon, and Metroid is a FPS), but unlike Miyimoto-sama and his success, Naka started to go mad with crazy s*** and started to think about...bum,bum,bummmmm...THE KIDS!!! So he came up with the craptacular Sonic Shuffle and the rushed-sequel SA2! Soon he started talking crazy s*** about Sonic grinding, hanging in Nintendo, rabbits, Chao, and a homesexual little boy named Chris(KRISSSUU...SHINNNEE!!!) before he gave up on the franchise and started humping elves with cards and dressing little boys like chickens. Now, the formula is wearing off for Naka, as seen in his decent Sonic Heroes and his cool SAd3, but by then it's too late!! WHY NAKA?! WHY THE EGGS?! WHY USE CARDS?! WHY CHRIS?!!! Ahem, thank you for your time, hello again..and Green Gibbon...YOU RULE!!

Wait, how is it wearing off? Naka probably had nothing to do with Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Heroes was by far the worst Sonic game I have ever played. Decent it a term reserved for games like Wind Waker and should never ever be used to describe the monstrosity that is Heroes.

And how did you get banned from so many other places? Sounds like a good story.

Just saying.

umm....I thought Sonic The Hedgehog was always for children, I could agree with you if Sonic used to curse, use sexual refrences and violence and suddenly became a non-cursing, non-sexual refrencing and non-violent figure, but that's not true. Sonic was meant for the 6-13 demographic, I mean seriously, Sonic was for nothing but kids, and Teens/Adults who remember the older Sonic days so they still are fans.

I dunno...I remember Sonic saying damn in SX, and with all these dark gods, government experiments, and big-breasted bat-girls popping all around him, I'm thinking that Sonic is meant for a crowd a bit older than 6-13. OK, So he's no Solid Snake or Dante, but heres an age old comparision:Mario plays golf, has parties, and even races with his enemies until he has to save the princess in magical kingdom with cute little baddies, while Sonic rarely co-opperates with Eggman and is too busy trouncing his butt across checkered landscpaes to save the world from utter chaos: Now which one is meant for the younger crowd? But know Naka-san is putting Sonic in these kinda kiddy situations (e.g, Cream, Chaos, teaming with Eggman, Sonic Heroes, Sonic X) ala Mario, and is kinda messing his rep. I remember a commercial where Sonic was making fun of an old lady and she saids "Mario is never that rude"...that's the true Sonic, the anti-mascot and the forerunner for Jak, Crash and every other "platformer with a `tude" and that's the one I want back! But as for banning me, please don't  If it's because of the cursing, than I'm sorry...But if it isn't please tell me now, and I won't do it again. PLEASE DON'T KICK ME OUT!

Dear Sonniku <sic>,

Please insert line breaks into your posts.

The scrunched up sentences tax the eyes.

Peace.

aso, by spelling Sonikku correctly you spelled Sonniku's name incorrectly. This amuses me.

Proper spacing (and spelling) are my mistresses. Spurning them earns a burning pain in my heel. I cannot ignore them!

No one cares if you curse. Popcorn was joking. But you should understand that the GHZ is generally neutral towards Sonic now, especially after Sonic Heroes, which nearly everyone here agrees was the worst Sonic game in living memory. Most, if not all of the long-time members here and some other newer ones don't like what Sonic Team has become and are generally bitter and twisted about it. Me too.

It's not very appropriate for me to be saying this seeing as barely 80% of the forum knows me at all, but it just seems that you're not getting that. This probably ought to be in the FAQ.

Oh, I have a certain set of standards for the average human being, and anyone who doesn't meet these standards makes me angry.

I'm angry a lot.
