Instead of Reala (or Nights for that matter), it would probably be another Sonic character.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
I know most people don't care about the Dojo anymore (the past few updates have been nothing but lists of unlockables and checklists anyway), but today's update is actually something new and different: the backstory of the Subspace Emissary, including a scene that was cut from the game.
Oh, and there's lots of spoilers (natch), so be aware of that.

Ganondorf was going to upstage Master Hand anyway? What? I always just sensed that as dedication to his creator, over all others.
Did anyone else notice that Game & Watch doesn't get his name displayed at the bottom of the screen in any cutscene? Even the three not involved in the storyline get that!

Could have sworn I saw Mr. Game & Watch's name. Mainly because I seem to remember it being scrunched up so it could fit.

New Screenshot gallery 2 update.
Did they really think that those immature pictures would be posted? Still, I did not know the submit option was for pictures to have a chance at Online recognition. Thanks for all of your submissions!
Please understand that snapshots depicting inappropriate content or containing inappropriate comments will not be eligible for selection.
To this point, I’ve received a great number of screenshots that focus on peeking at the undergarments of certain Brawl combatants. So let me just say it again—shots like these will never be posted to the Dojo or sent out to users via the Smash Service.

Ah Mr Ressetti... in the DS game, he is a pain in the Umbrella!
I wonder why Nintendo haven’t done a Wii version of Animal crossing, it could link to the DS game and all....

And yet after the statement by Sakurai, if you go to the Japanese gallery there is tentacle rape and Peach undergarments.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Only one more update left. Wonder what it'll be?
Maybe it'll be some ultra-secret code that reveals the final secret of the game - kept hidden for this long to act as one final hurrah? (Although it'd probably be something really small and pointless, given that we already know all the fighters, stages, music, etc.).
Then again, I'm expecting something more... bland. Like "thanks for reading this blog since last Summer, it's been real, keep on Brawling; sincerely, Sakurai". Or similar.

I'm hoping for something amazing, but it'll probably be the Seacrest-out post.

Trailer for Super Smash Bros. DS: A remake of the N64 version with more speed, more characters including Sonic, stage creator, and friend code-ridden Online play.
Hey, I can wish, can't I?

Maybe they will use this update to finally announce a European release date for Brawl.
Ha! Yeah right! There's more chance of this update being a super secret code to unlock Master Chief than that happening.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Perhaps Nintendo is considering pulling a Capcom and releasing Smash Bros Brawl v2 with 10 new characters and nothing else added?Take it as you will... Christmas Smash Brothers, perhaps?
In other news, I tried to copy my save file of Brawl to a friend's Wii so he could have all the characters. It's COPY FUCKING PROTECTED. Unlocking all the characters is SERIOUS BUSINESS. I guess you're SOL if you ever need to stop playing your own Wii for any reason.

Tell your friend to get a Power Saves SD Card from Datel. There's game saves of Brawl from codejunkies in which the copy protection is removed, so those saves can be transferred to any Wii.Zeta wrote:In other news, I tried to copy my save file of Brawl to a friend's Wii so he could have all the characters. Well, you were right, Gaz..it was pretty much a "thank you" post for the final update. That, and a page of little tidbits about the game. Oh well.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Looks like someone's contacted Pat Cashman, Brawl's announcer. His Results. Includes pronunciation variations.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Wait a minute, he actually did this? I'd say it's just some fan doing a good impression, but the way he reads some of the names gives a "I have no idea who these characters are" vibe that gives it authenticity.K2J wrote:Looks like someone's contacted Pat Cashman, Brawl's announcer. So I guess he has a too much free time.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Yeah. I doubt anyone who wanted Rockman in Brawl would be openminded enough to consider any alternative pronunciation. That's something likely only a VA would realize.
(With God as my witness, I will get through this fucking prank without getting butt cheese'd.)
