Shadow and Luigi go super at the end to battle Metal Sonic, who using the power of the Olympic rings has transformed into a gigantic lumberjack-moose monster who you must duel in an extreme hockey match to save all of your friends and Canada.

I enjoyed the boarding from SA2, so this looks neat. I just hope that everybody has boards as cool as the ones in SA2.

I would buy 50 copies of this game if Wooduck's spoiler was true. : /

Now he's talking about the new "Adventure Tours" mode, a story-style mode where Mario, Sonic, and friends all team up to save the "snow spirits" by expertly completing in Olympic events.

Theres's some new screenshots of the DS version at IGN including some screens from what looks like the game's story mode.

Ugh. A story. What were they thinking? That said I guess the interactions between Mario and Sonic characters has some potential but I just can't see it being handled very well.

There's also some new screenshots for the Wii version as well.

I like how Donkey Kong's speed attribute is greater than Sonic's. That's got to put a stick in many a fan-boy's craw.

That's one element I'd love to see more in any Sonic game. Hopefully, the physics and controls aren't too wonky this time.

Looks like this one is going to have at least a couple of stages drawn from the actual Sonic and (presumably) Mario franchises:

If they have levels from SA2 and not earlier Sonic games, I will be upset.

Since they seemed to rip the model data from the original games (including the Mario one), I wouldn't bet on anything pre-SA1...

(Also, second Radical Highway image)

This has all the appeal of a head-on car collision. You know it's a gruesome mish-mash of things that were never meant to be mish-mashed. And yet, some dark recess of your psyche prevents you from turning away.

Also, the textures on that cable suck. I'm 95% certain the original stage had crisper graphics

Remind me who exactly liked Silver so much that he has to be shoehorned into as many new Sonic games as possible.
