Oh hell yes, I loved the last battle of PiT (or the second last, anyway, that last showdown with Bowser was really tacked on). The music was fucking amazing, the atmosphere was great, the plot twist leading to it was surprisingly well done, and the whole battle had awesome mechanics that needed you to really use all the skills you'd built up over the course of the game (and made the boss seem a hell of alot more dangerous to boot: shooting down her own flying saucers to divebomb you? BRILLIANT). Exactly what a final boss should be.

Really? It's consistent with the Japanese predecessors yeah, but it's totally incongruent with what we've gotten in the past.

Bland, too.

Superstar Saga is the favorite of the saga, not liking it, is like saying Super Mario kart 64 sucks, but...whatever...

I dunno. The American box art of Superstar Saga was fantastic, but the cover for Partners in Time was really disorienting. Bland as the cover art for this game is, I still kinda like it.

...So, anybody have an American copy of the game yet? How is it?

For a savage demon king, Bowser sure compromises a lot.
