Forgive my ignorance but I have little technical knowledge on the subject.
Obviously we won't see the Saturn emulated on present consoles, but what about the model 2 board? How feasible is this? easy? hard?
In a nutshell what are the chances of seeing classic model 2 games re-released?

A number of Model 2 games (including Fighting Vipers and Virtua Fighter 2) were re-released for the PS2 under the Sega Ages 2500 brand in Japan.
Sonic the Fighters was released as part of Sonic Gems Collection.

And I'll debate that we won't see Saturn emulation on present consoles... It's already running mightily well on SSF, and the 360/PS3 basically qualify for high-end computers (well, maybe mid-end by this point), so if the right people just went out and ported it, it might run at a somewhat playable speed.
Not to mention GameTap already has Saturn titles in its line-up. NiGHTS was coming to it soon, wasn't it?

Most games run amazingly well on SSF. Some minor frame rate issues, but quite playable for the most part. Cutscenes tend to fudge up...
