I'd like to know what his last thoughts/words were. Thoughts, preferably, since his last words probably went something like "Mprhphhhrprhhhmmhphr!"

We've done the Cadbury discussion, yes? I'm pretty sure we have. It involved someone going on about living in the same city as a Cadbury factory and how great it was. Possibly J-man. Maybe Popcorn.

Okay. So.

So.

So.

I swear to God the story I'm about to relay is true. This is no joking matter.

So. Just a few minutes ago I sat down and poured myself a bowl of Berry Lucky Charms. In the entire bowl - and I shit you not - one single marshmallow. A lonely pink heart. I peered quizically into the box to make sure someone wasn't playing a mean trick on me, but no. A box full of oat pieces and a colorful spectrum of marshmallows. Yet somehow only a single squishy gem managed to plunge into my bowl.

Many times have I sat and wondered about the probability of such a circumstance. I'm no mathematician, but I've always suspected it's a pretty unlikely scenario, even for one who eats as much Lucky Charms as I do. And yet it happened. To me.

I've never been superstitious, but I know this can only be an omen. Maybe even a sign of the Apocalypse.

Maybe most of the marshmellows shifted down to the bottom of the box during shipment, like dead brine shrimp in a tank full of water.

The lonely heart is you and the oat pieces are THE WORLD.

I guess now we all know what the sign was about, anyway. Maybe.

I think it WAS me. I don't live in the same city, but I'm about an hour's drive away, and we went there for a school trip way back in the day. The free gifts are pretty thin on the ground, but you get to taste chocolate straight from the vat, and it's... mmm.

You have to wade through a ton of touristy bullshit, "history of" and kiddie rides and stuff, but just wandering around on the factory floor is pretty magical. Y'know, being right in the creamy centre of over a hundred and eighty years' worth of British chocolate production, and all that. Smells fucking great in there, too.

Did the factory have little orange people working there for almost nothing?

I wonder if your interest is more than a little personal, Oompa Star.

Oh, really? I've been doing some work lately for this little local bottling company that brews their own ginger beer. Remind me to send you a few bottles some time. The stuff's excellent, and quite spicy! I believe I had certain Daniel Sexton sample it while he was in the states, so you can ask him if you don't trust my terrible American palate.

Ha, I didn't think of the relation between my screen name and my previous post.

Nothing is more kickass than midgets. Especially if they're orange.
