Nobi Nobi Boy

Post by Locit »

It is a well known fact by now that Keita Takahashi has washed his hands of the Katamari Damacy series. This of course has not stopped Namco from creating further sequels for the PSP and now Xbox 360. However, it seems Takahashi hasn't been idle in his absence from the series- some Famitsu scans recently hit the net containing the titular character of his new PS3 game, のびのびBOY.

The scans also included what looked like Takahashi posing with the admittedly awkward looking inspiration for the stretchy little, uh, guy.

At the very least this should be a pretty interesting game, whatever the hell it ends up being about. I'm at least curious as to what they're going to do now that they've got the PS3's power to play around with.

I think this might be the long awaited modern update to the dot matrix classic, "Snake".

What a logical conclusion, since we know so much about the game already! Also, I base all my game opinions on how attractive the game designer is. Basically, the only game I've ever anticipated is Assassin's Creed.

We have so much in common! Wait, wait, picture this- a collaboration between Jeff Minter and Cliff Bleszinski. Are you feeling that tingle? Oh daddy

Also, I reserve the right to bitch over any degree of information currently available. My opinions are subject to change, but damn, that thing is ugly.

I bet IRL tentacle raep simulator. Think of it as the next generation Rez's TranceVibrator.

And you thought the wiimote + nunchaku combo was suggestive?
