I'm not sure if thise works on the limited edition, or international version, I own the regular, just plain Sonic Adventure version.
Ok, sit at the title screen, and wait for the cutscene to show up of Sonic battling E-102.
Now, RIGHT AS it's about to cut to a demo of Speed Highway press start. Sonic will stop as he runs into the distance, and the camera will catch up to him, as if you're playing on the Egg Carrier Adventure Field. and a weird voice will say 'GOOOOOOO PLEEEEEEASE' before it fades to Speed Highway.
No, i'm not fucking kidding.
Has anyone else known about this, or is my game haunted?

Sounds like you accidentally tripped a code that may have been used for debugging. Maybe they had trouble getting it to advance to the next scene; I know in my games when something isn't working, I put in little cues like that in various stages of the code to make sure it did X or Y.
You make a sound play when a normally silent action is completed to make sure the action was even completed at all. Perhaps you simply paused the game during a time when you weren't supposed to; triggering some kind of weird debug thing.

They happen generally before certain Character vs. Character boss battles. Specifically, the one I remember, is right before Sonic vs. Knuckles at Mystic Ruins.Dasher wrote:Yes, SA1 had some weird voices and sounds after some cutscenes, couldnt make out what they said.
Right before the boss battle starts, all of Knuckles' voice clips play at super speed briefly.
