Took me just under two months since release (and yet I only spent, what, 40-ish hours overall?), but I finally finished Twilight Princess as well.
Definitely the best plot in any Zelda created to date. I might still slightly prefer OoT or Link's Awakening overall, but, eh, they've really just got nostalgia on their side, I guess. (Although why I'm nostalgic about OoT when I first played that game on the WW pre-order disc in 2003 - a scant four years ago - is anyone's guess.)
Now, I've got oodles upon oodles of sidequests to finish up. I think I'll get to that later, though; I've not been playing much of my OTHER Wii games, like Super Monkey Ball or Wii Sports... or even Gunstar.
One thing bugs me, though. Is it just me, or has any game since the GameCube era that has Koji Kondo's name in the credits also have it listed with a bunch of other guys I've never heard of? It's just that, generally, the music I listen to in these new games doesn't quite connect with me like the old games did, and I'm wondering just how much Kondo's actually putting out these days. That, or nostalgia really is getting to me.

Kondo is actually composing next to nothing these days, he's just generally overall audio director/producer on each project he's involved with, meaning his team do 90% of the work and he gives it the thumbs up.
I'm actually not sure if he composed a single new theme himself for Twilight Princess or if the only music by him featured in the game is the remixes (although there's obviously plenty of those).
His lack of involvement nowadays is actually pretty significant to me too, I mean if you take Yoshi's Island DS for example....the soundtrack in that is absolute tripe. It's a big part of why the game doesn't even approach the quality of the original.

Midna is without a doubt the most engaging character ever seen in a Zelda game - in terms of depth, expression, and concept. She really steals the game's spotlight from just about everyone else.
I have no idea what Zelda's doing in the game, actually. Her roles are basically totally stolen by Ilia (Link's love interest), and Midna (the chick Link is assiting in the quest against evil). She appears in like 3 scenes throughout the entire game and doesn't even figure into the plot.

Link's Awakening is a Zelda game, but doesn't feature Zelda at all (barring one mention at the game's start when Link mistakes Marin for her).
It's also probably one of my favorites, but then, it was my first (DX version - the thing inexplicably attracted me along with Wario Land 2, and since I'd randomly gotten a GBC for Christmas one year, I thought, why not?), so I suppose I'm naturally biased toward it.
