Sega Racing
Recently, while doing an errand at Publix with my younger sister, I saw a few Hot Wheels packages in a check-out lane and decided to give them a quich look.
The other cars seemed to be the standard style, but one at the very top was something I hadn't even heard of to this point: a Sega 'Shinobi' car. Needless to say, I purchased it.
According to the front, this was only the 3rd (a 'Lotus Espirit') out of 5. A quick look to the back revels four other cars. The entire series, apparently, is:
Space Channel 5 (Fandango)
Super Monkey Ball (GT Racer)
Shinobi (Lotus Espirit)
House of the Dead (Phantom)
Jet Set Radio Future (Custom Cougar)
Apparently these were released some time last year... I'd like to know, has anyone else here seen the rest of these?
Add: Link showing off the cars.

I don't think they have those in North Carolina. They have 'em in South Carolina, though.Light Speed wrote:Oh yeah, I went to one when I was in North Carolina. Big store.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee.
Of course, it's entirely possible that they haven't updated their site for a year or so, so one may very well be in North Carolina, too.
Where'd you get them? I'd like to get the other four cars.Segaholic2 wrote:Yeah, I bought two full sets. One for me, one for my brother. I'll post a picture later if I can be bothered to. Maybe.

I'd only heard of Publix in a book series I read, and then when I went to Georgia for the Olympics (spectator, I wasn't participating) and last year for vacation, they were all over the place. Who knew? Regional chains always interest me.
There's a bunch of gas stations called something like "Cum and Go" in Iowa, which I discovered this week.
