So, the third fase is on, with the 8 best teams (or at least, the ones that weren't screwed by the refrees) ready for the quarter-finals. Those are the following matches:
The Hometeam versus La Gran NaciÃƒÂ³n De Los Cucarachas (OlÃƒÂ©!); J-Man's Compatriots against Codfish Land; Cosa Nostra faces off Baba's Favourite; and finally, Asterix & Co. X Banana Republic.

Anyway, it's anyone's game now, no-one is playing incredibly well so I bet we're in for a few suprises.

So... yeah, Brazil played poorly and lost. That leaves Germany, Italy, Portugal and France on the semifinals. You better root for Portugal (less for the fact the coach is the same that won with Brazil in 2002, and more for the fact they never won).

And Germany got the consolation of being in third, after beating Portugal by 3X1. That leaves only the final game, wich is Italy vs. France. Will Italy be the second country to reach four World Cup victories? Will Zidane finish his career with the glory of bi-championship? Will anyone bother to post here until then, since we clearly have no italian nor french posters? Only time will tell.

Italy has ended the evil oposition of Mr. Headbutt and won the World Cup.
However, the never ending game continues until all adversary forces are defeated.

Apparently, Mattarazo (heck if this is the right name) said some nasty stuff about his sister or something before that head-on. Still, I can't think of a worse situation to do this kind of thing. Maybe in your wedding.
