I want a nice pen. I'm tired of not caring.

I'm using an LCD monitor, which I guess makes some kind of difference.

It was actually because of the drawings that I made it darker to begin with. The old logo looked really bright and ugly next to that embittered Chao, so I sort of made the new logo in reference to that.

Maybe if I lighten the checkered squares?

Personally, I do like the new logo better than the previous one - it seems slightly more cartoony and I like that the letters are individually outlined in green rather than one ugly mass of green - but I agree that the checkered squares are too dark.

You'd only all vote for Neil.
Oh, shuddup, it was a close call.

Huge improvement. Now let's put that one up instead of the ugly one at the top left of the forum.

Yes. Though I still like the old one better. Any chance you could switch the font to something that cuts the sharp angles off the Z? If I had to back that up with some justification, I'd say it's because the G and H don't contain anything much smaller than a 90 degree angle, so the Z looks out of place.

On the other hand, the G is the only one with curves, so you better drop that too. Rename it "The H Zone" and turn it into a porn site.

I second the Z angle movement. Aside from that issue, that logo kicks ass.

That font's actually the NiseSegaSonic one from Hari-hari's site, which is the same used in the old logo. I guess he changed the "Z" in the most recent version, and it totally looks out of place. Unfortunately, I lost the old one when I formatted my hard drive, and I tried a bunch of other fonts, but nothing looked right...

The G also looks a little higher than the rest of the logo, so maybe if you could just move it down a smidgen, that would rock. It looks miles better already though.

Incidently, just incase it's not abundantly clear, the "logo" in this thread title should read "picture."

Another vote for this new logo. The outlining definitely helps.

Yes, I agree -- the new-new logo is the dog's bollocks.

And Gibsy? Your humble drama queen requests all the old, antideluvian logos too, please. My Gmail address is captain.cavan@gmail.com. If it wouldn't be too much to ask. And if it is too much, then it sucks to be you.
