The Sonic In a Nutshell Series

Post by J.E.Smith »

Don't know if any or all of these have been posted here or the old forum before(I'm trying to remember if the SA one was posted before), but anyway here are all the hilarous Sonic nutshells done by the Zodiak of the SoaH forums for your enjoyment.

Yeah, the Sonic Adventure one was posted, but I don't recall the other 2 ever being posted. Either way, I never heard any of them so I'll check them out a little later.

I listened to one once. I can't believe I made it through the entire thing without killing something. Oh, it's probably because there weren't any living creatures in my room at the time.

You could have killed yourself. I thought they were fairly funny except if you have heard one you have heard them all.

SA2 in a Nutshell (not on here) was gold.

Every single goddamned Nutshell uses the same formula (shitty graphics + squirrely voice = funny!!!1) and I suppose it's funny the first time you hear one.

Of course, there have been many more than one. Many, many, many more. Thus, why I see 'em as crap.

I heard the DBZ one first. It was hilarious. I heard the SA2 one, and it was just stupid.

The SA2 one doesn't have a squirrely voice or shitty graphics...

Del: Meh. To each their own, I guess.

You must've seen a different one, then. If it deviates from the formula, so much the better.

The SA2 one I'm talking about was done by Red/Dragon XVI, has bard music playing in the background, and a lot of explosions. I saw someone make a vid of it once, and they ripped the animation straight from Sonic X.

Oh, I remember that one. Loved it.

- I'm going to destroy everything! Havar!
- What are you?
- I'm fluffy! *explosion*

...and...

- What's happening?
- The ARK! Revenge! Big lizard! Arrgh!

...and don't forget...

- I died. *gag*
- Shadow is dead, but we saved the day! YAY!!

I saw the DBZ one coupled with a Flash movie that was pretty hilarious.

It seems like that the DBZ in a Nutshell one was the first for most people. And as I posted above, it was funny. The first time I saw it.

I know the narrator of at least one of these has a New Zealand accent, and that alone is enough to hate it.

Someone made a shockwave flash version of the Sonic 1 in a nutshell and that was pretty damn funny:

I think they're funnier when their is video to them.

I remember seeing the SA2 in a nutshell Video Edition on Gamefaqs. I really liked the "Shadow is dead..." bit and the fact that the same friggin' X-Cyclone scene being re-used like, 4 times?
