I have that system. IN MY PANTS.

Tell me you didn't see that coming.

But yeah, no harddrive and no backwards compatibility seems like a step backwards. It was really convenient to not shuffle through 8 memory cards (gamecube) looking for the right save. Plus, custom soundtracks were nice for the games that supported them. Hell, even Revolution is confirmed to be backwards compatible, and may even have a harddrive, so I'm not sure what MS is thinking when they spent so long trying to establish the precedent that the Xbox was more technically advanced than the competition...

But does that hard drive come in the box with the system? Or do you have to fork over another 50 bucks or so?
