Command and Conquer Badniks.

Post by Zeta »

Here's the situation:

Eggman's decided to retire, and he's chosen you as his heir.

He's going to give you blueprints for some of his robots, along with the resources to build enough badniks to match the numbers of the US army at it's height, along with a small fleet.

HOWEVER, you can only CHOOSE 10 different badnik blueprints to actually produce - because Eggman's crazy as shitte and feels like limiting you. Sonic will not fight you. You only have to worry about the might of the world's millitary.

Oh yeah, after you begin conquering contries, you'd begin to have the ability to get more materials to make more badniks - but you'd still have to stick to the original 10 designs.

What 10 badniks do you choose to crush humanity with?

My list:

1) Metal Sonic (S3K Version) Obviously. Since most of Eggman's robots can barely take more than one hit, we're going to need to stack the deck with numero uno. Multiple Metal Sonics would pretty much assure dominance over infantry, and have a shot at taking out aircraft, too. If it weren't for the fact that it seems hard to make them in large quantities, it might be possible to win the war just by using 100 well-programmed Metal Sonics.

2) Eggrobo - Better than Egg Pawns, and since they can fly - better than Kikis. Good as basic infantry - only with the ability to fly. Plus they fold up for ease of storage.

3) Heavy Egg Hammer - Heavy infantry. For when Eggrobos just aren't enough.

4) E-2000 - Infantry/aircraft combinations that have high defense and speed.

5) Vulcan - I don't really like their design, and I'm kind of ashamed that 3 of thse badniks come from Sonic heroes. But it's one of the few fighter-styled robots that actually has weaponry, instead of just trying to slam kamikaze-style into other aircraft.

6) Saura - My favorite Badnik. Eggman doesn't really have many heavy hitters designed for aquatic functions. So I'd have to go with these as my main naval force. Of course, they can shoot. And their armor is strong enough to resist molten lava. So that's a plus.

7) Jawzun - I need something to support Saura. Enough of these would have a chance at taking down submarines and enemy seacraft just by eating it out from underneath.

7) E-100 - Snipers that never miss a target. Of course, they can think for themselves. But I'd just treat them right and be sure to give them candy so they wouldn't rebel.

8) Bola - Assuming they couldn't figure out a way to mimic the Insta-Shield in soldiers - he's golden.

9) Stinger - Great at harassing and confusing infantry. They'd problably be able to tank out tanks and helicopters in large numbers.

10) Mogurin - As I've said before, anyone with a warmachine that can burrow through the earth will have the advantage. You can fire at enemies in the air, you can fire at enemies in the sea, you can fire at enemies on the land. How do you shoot something that's underneath you? Yeah, bitches.

Yeah, I've thought about this too much, huh?

Uni-Uni. Unless the military has invincibility monitors, there's no getting through Uni-Uni.

Despite all the "advanced" technology Eggman has, it would pretty easily fall to a modern day army.

Well, then why does Sonic have to stop him, Mr Smarty pants?

Because GUN is no better then Eggman.

But if I got some Badniks anyway then I would take the following:

Mushmeanie - because it's hella cool

That chicken guy that shoots the egg-shaped bullets - it's just so fucked up

One of those hovering turtle dudes - because then I wouldn't need a car

I thought someone had actually produced a badnik-themed Command and Conquer mod. Thanks for letting me down. :(

Well, maybe someone can hack Advance Wars so that the units look like badniks?

I smell ROM patch.
Unfortunately, I'm way too lazy to do it myself, and I don't pirate games that I've already bought.

1. Egg Keeper - a robot that can paralyze enemies will always be good.

2. Heavy Egg Hammer - you need some armor.

3. Arma - you need some speed, too.

4. Valkyn - you need something to protect the skies.

5. Teru Star - these things were as annoying as hell in Metropolis. They should be just as much of a pain in the ass against whoever is fighting them.

6. Potosu - good for taking out land targets from the air.

7. Piranha - to take out ships.

8. E-2000R - these things have a lot of firepower.

9. Egg Bishop - these guys could heal Heavy Egg Hammers or E-2000Rs and make each one last much longer.

10. Biiton - partially just because they're cool, and partially because these guys could probably wreak havoc on a ground target if there was enough of them.
