According to my calculations, The GHZ turns 20 years old today! Cake, hoorays, and Drano for everyone, and by "everyone" I mean the five or so people that still visit this forum on the regular.

When is GHZ Generations coming out? I want to play as fan-fiction-writing Green Gibbon! and "Emergency Warning" Green Gibbon!. Get to it, lads!

It would be awesome if GG! and some of the other GHZ former frequenters showed up (Kind of like those 20 year TV anniversary specials where they bring back people from the original cast).

Do we know what happened to GG!? I think he was last seen on that TSSZ interview and then he disappeared. (Is he still living in Japan?)
I would have loved to see his reaction to Hidden Palace Zone and Mania (although, come to think of it, I don't remember him expressing any opinion on Generations or Colours).

So it's been ten years, give or take a couple of weeks. Sega Enterprises, for all intents and purposes, died about three years ago, but The GHZ yet pulses with life. Sonic the Hedgehog ceased to be relevant roughly eight years ago, but The GHZ still stumbles blindly into fiery blue damnation. Everyone who cared or mattered has long since moved on, but The GHZ yet lingers in a stagnant murk of failure and stale running gags. At times like this, there's only one thing a man can say:

We don't even have the stale running gags anymore. Just the failure.
