Did someone not know about this yet? I hate turn-based RPGs with a passion and even I knew about this last week.

Vincent is too many things in one. He's a vampire / werewolf / cyborg secret agent gunman.

He's the videogame equivalent of Sakura Lestat.

I think Square is really digging at the bottom of the idea barrel now.

It's been rumored that it'll be very Devil May Cry-ish. I'll look into that game and if it gets good enough rave, I'll consider playing it, but dang it, this is overkill...too many FF7 game. We already have a movie and a cellphone game. COME ON, Squenix, throw us some FF9 goodies! The world needs more Vivi!

As if FF7 wasn't angst-ridden enough, this game'll be starring the only one who out-angsts Cloud and Sephiroth... Vincent! Wonder how many fanboys/girls are popping off in excitement?

...Not according to some of the doujin. In fact, I'd say he's prettier than most in a lot of them.
Given, it's hard NOT to look pretty when Cloud's reaming you in the ass, but still.

God, that's an ugly logo.

DMC with Vincent might work... But then again. Square has a way of screwing sure-things up (*cough*Chrono Cross*cough)... Oh well, though I wish they'd just leave FF7 alone for awhile. They should make a new FF8... And, you know, make it so that it doesn't suck anymore.

Vincent May Cry is old news.

More like, they need to move on from Final Fantasy(especially 7) and maybe another sequel to a rarely used franchise*cough*Chrono*cough* or better yet, try something new and original all together.

After FF12, they should take a long break from FF altegether. No spin-offs, cameos, or anything. Y'know, just to try to keep the series fresh and have the fans beg for a new FF game when they finally miss it.

I bet the GameFAQs fankidz are tweeking their nipples with glee at this. =P

The last time Square tried to ape one of Capcom's formulaic action games and call it their own, we got Parastie Eve 2. Unless you've never bared witness to PE2, than an explanation for the comparison is unnecessary.

R1 to shoot?! Oh, c'mon now...

LOLno.

What's with the sudden rush of FFVII-related spinoffs/sequels/movies/mousemats? Have Squenix suddenly become aware of the raging tide of GameFAQs FFVII fanboys and girls, hungry for a new fix of their favourite adorably angsty guys with oversized "weapons"?

Run for the motherfucking hills is all I can say.

All I knowis, I'll give it a try when it comes out, but as much as I like FF7, I'm getting tired of hearing about that game. Gah...Cloud's overrated.

The great thing about GameFAQs is that no matter how many times you watch the fanboys and the skeptics clash, it never gets old.
Until they start the name calling, that is.

Maybe since all of Square's new characters look almost exactly the same anyhow, they realized they might as well stop bothering to make new ones.

That'd be cool if they made a game about Vincent's earlier days as a turk, man I really don't like the direction they're taking the franchise. Advent Children doesn't even look that cool and I'm a real big fan of FF7 the game.

PE 2 a bad game??? Bah, it was a pseudo-nice game... of course, I 'm a fan of Survival Horror games, so there... of course, PE 1 is still the best.

You want a REALLY fucked up Square game???

Ah, Ehrgeiz. The only game you could play as a guy with a machine gun arm, or a rocket launcher leg, or a morphing wolf chick, or a Red XIII clone...
