Of the three consoles, I think Sony has definitely had my favourite new exclusive series this gen... they've just all been on the PS3. I wish the PSP had those kind of things going for it.

The Wii, on the other hand, has had some GREAT iterations of existing franchises. And some of them (like Mario Galaxy) have been surprisingly new and different in that context... but even so, it's not really the same. Putting a new idea into a Mario or Kirby game is the safest, most conservative, and most restrictive way to implement it.

And then you have the Xbox, which has tons of great unique and innovative exclusives... they're just all in the Arcade.
