So, we should all make a poll of what childhood memory they will rape next...

I don't know why I didn't just stop watching the movie altogether, I guess I just thought something cool would happen. If it did, I don't even remember it.
Indeed, the movie was bad. It's wasn't made as a movie. Inittialy it was made as 4 episodes of the TV series, but then GL thought of making a movie, which was a very bad idea.

At least, for me, the TV series has helped to recover from that traumatic experience.

Ah fuck, I really miss the Hanna Barbara animation (As flawed as it was) when looking at those screens. It look like his hair is carved from fucking wood.

I havent watched a single epsiode of the series yet, but despite absoluetly hating the movie, i can very well imagine it to be good. Cause even though there was a lot of things in the movie that i wasnt very fond of, like the animation and some of the voices, the only thing about it that i hated was the crappy storyline. So something similar to the movie but with a good story could probably be perfectly watchable, bad animation and voice work aside.

Dude, why is nobody talking about the sublime Clone Wars animated show from a couple years back? That's how you do Star Wars. Fuck all this CGI after-school shit, get Genndy Tartakovsky on the case with a new series.

And then get him to write an ending to Samurai Jack pretty plz

Mako, the guy who voiced Aku, is dead, and I'm not sure how good a continuation of Jack would be without him.

Eh. Samurai Jack was an okay show, but massively overrated.

90% of the show was just slow pans of scenery followed by slow pans of Jack staring angrily at the viewer. Also animation was shit.

The only thing that lacked on Genndy's Clone Wars (which was great) was character development. That's one of the things that this series is improving.

As for the CGI series, if any of you are willing of giving it a try, I advice you to watch the following episodes from season 1:

5. Rookies
9. Cloak of Darkness
15. Trespass
16. The Hidden Enemy
20. Innocents of Ryloth
21. Liberty of Ryloth
22. Hostage Crisis

And from season 2:

5. Landing at Point Rain (for the ones who loved the action of Genndy series, this is for you)
7. Legacy of Terror

How much of the show have you watched? I remember when it was actually on the air I watched the first few episodes and hated it to the point that I never watched it again. It was only after the series was out on DVD that I gave it a second chance and now it's my favorite cartoon.

Watch "Seasons of Death" and tell me Samurai Jack is shit. In fact, don't, because you'll be wrong and I wouldn't want you to embarass yourself.

Not to be a douche, but shouldn't someone just be able to watch any episode and enjoy it? Or even just start at the first episode?
Why should we be inclined to watch a series where you can apparently only recommend 9 episodes out of the 29 aired so far?

Of course. But as some people had judge the series just for one episode, I chose some episodes that were very good to try to show them otherwise. And also because many of the episodes are stand alone stories and can be seen out of order. (i.e. episode 16 is a prequel to the movie)

I would recommend to watch the whole series, but since there are many tastes, I chose some that were praised by the general public. There are more, but I won't put them all here.
