Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages

Gasp! You cheaters. City Escape is pretty much confirmed what with that one singer saying he did a new version of the music for the game. - Chemical Plant Zone ( Sonic 2 ) - Lava Reef Zone ( Sonic 3 & Knuckles ) - Death Egg Zone (likely the Sonic 3 & Knuckles version. It'll be the final level and yo...

Re: Sonic Generations

New trend: instead of complaining about the game, complain about the people who don't complain about the game.

Re: Sonic Generations

I love this board's feature to let me review my post when someone beats me to the punch. I was just about to post that video. So the music is remixed from the old games. Classic Sonic's sounds closer to the original, modern Sonic's is more upbeat. It's a good idea. Tails, Knuckles and Shadow are con...

Re: Sonic Generations

I'm just gonna say right off the bat that is my favorite-looking version of Green Hill Zone. Classic Sonic looks to have everything right, assuming the physics aren't wonky. His animations are very charming and the level design - what little was shown - had no traces of what I despise from any recen...

Re: Sonic Generations

I've always thought that was his shirt and it looked that way 'cause it faded into the backround. 'Course now that I think of it, if it is indeed his shirt, that part oughta be yellow... Besides, if that was his shirt, where would his chin be? Ironically, Tails looks better in the US box art than t...

Re: Sonic Generations

I wouldn't say that. But indeed, classic Sonic doesn't look as good there as in the pre-Uekawa Japanese artwork. It's using a few shades of the American artwork (mainly the left pupil trying to get into the right eye and the ass...

Re: Massive tsunami hits Japan

The title change got to me before I remembered this was The GHZ. That said, I'm very relieved to hear he's fine! you guys YOU GUYS we completely forgot about Passepartout I actually did remember the guy when I realized GG could have just flown away, assuming the castle wasn't responsible for the who...

Re: Attack of the Clones

What about Rayman 2 ? It probably has more re-releases than any other 3D platformer out there: PC Nintendo 64 Dreamcast PlayStation (also re-released on PSN) PlayStation 2 (under the name of Rayman Revolution in some territories, also re-released as part of the 10th Anniversary Pack ) Nintendo DS (a...

Re: Wee Motion Plus

So, no kidding, one time I went to the restroom at the computer lab at ShimaneDai and someone had missed the squat pot, with a huge turd just sitting there, half on the porcelain (or whatever they're made of) and half on the floor. I would sometimes camp at a place that had the same kind of toilets...

Re: Wee Motion Plus

They should really give you some snow or foam for when you get a high score and want to register your initials. I'm not sure how else you'd do this without switching to a different control scheme. That would just break the immersion!

So remember that time we started listing games where you could take a whiz? Yeah, I think we can add this one:

This adds a new and interesting (if sexist) dimension to video-games. The possibilities are endless!

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

Is it really worse? I was sure Rush minus holes was better than Unleashed's 2D stuff. Well, yeah. Colours for the Wii is far better than anything that came out of Unleashed . Besides, less holes doesn't make the DS version less boring or frustrating. I don't like having to drill my way through a wh...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

Get the Wii version and the DS demo. The Wii version is a good game, whereas the DS demo is an attempt to disguise how terrible the actual game is by presenting you one of the only good levels from it.

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

I got an impression it was a spinoff as well, to be honest. The cartoony story and brevity are more in line with what you'd expect from a side-project like Rush, Rivals, or the storybook series, and that's the context in which I see it (and also Unleashed). It's not a re-imagining of the franchise ...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

Couldn't have put it better myself. I almost forgot about the cutscenes until I read your post - not because they're bad or anything but because the game is so fun to replay at your own personal pace that I haven't started a new save yet. The characters are a huge improvement over the stale, overly ...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

I don't think I have any complaints about this game asides from it being a bit short, but even then it's just so much fun to replay it. I'm thoroughly enjoying it even after having gotten all the red rings. The phenomenal attention to detail is uncharacteristic for a modern Sonic game. There's so mu...

Re: Super Sonic Galaxy

How does the seemingly annoying 'THUMP THUMP THUMP' music sound when you use a wisp power? I saw a video of it and it seemed awful. Each Wisp has its own music. I'm guessing you're referring to the Yellow Wisp . Others don't sound quite as bad . Wait, there's no tricks? Huh. Did that mean you used ...

Re: 20th Anniversary Game

Also is not there a Mario Anniversary remake collection coming soon? It's a re-release/port of Mario All-Stars (from the SNES) on the Wii. I don't think it's been announced for America yet, just Japan and Europe as far as I'm aware. What the fuck is the point of that? I mean, I enjoy a healthy dose...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

I would probably enjoy Rush Adventure a bit more if the audio wasn't so goddamn annoying. Even the decent tracks are hard to listen to when everything you do creates obnoxiously loud 8-bit sound effects.

So, what, you search for people who comment on your videos outside YouTube? All it took was one peek at the views chart, it shows where the views come from and how many from sources, including sites that link it. Is that a problem? Not a hard task for someone who has used YT for three years. Which ...
