Same here. I really liked the concept, but there wasn't enough to it to keep me going.Zeta wrote:I tried Locke's Quest but couldn't motivate myself to finish it.

Re: Morning toilette
Secret Rings had so many RPG-like power-ups that you could equip. I think it might've actually been worth getting most of them if there were enough levels to justify leveling up so high. I gotta replay that game some time. It had a lot of unique things about it that we'll probably never see again in...

Re: Drawn to a very Depressing Death.
A couple of months ago I bought Drawn to Life Collection, mainly because it was only $4.99, but also because I have been on a bit of a DS game binge since January. Anyways, I had always wanted to play Drawn to Life because of the gimmick that you could draw your own character and a few other items....

Re: Flight of the bumblebee
Looking at this list makes me realize how very, very few 80's-90's Hudson Soft games I've played. I think the only one on the entire list I ever played a lot of was Mega Bomberman, the Mega Drive port of Bomberman '94. This. I don't think I've played any Hudson games other than a few different vers...

It doesn't say anything about there NOT being a PC release. Also, I posted the link to that blog post in the news section.

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
How does Sonic 4 work? I don't understand how it could be faster to not be Super Sonic--surely every route through any level still gives you at least 50 rings. Is Super Sonic not actually faster or something? Also, how does that work in Time Attack? Do you get to choose whether or not Super Sonic i...

Re: Sonic Generations
The Sega Blog finally officially announced the 3DS version of this game. It will have exclusive level layouts, special stage, and StreetPass functionality. The specifically designed Nintendo 3DS environments, based on iconic levels from popular Sonic the Hedgehog titles, will include an exclusive un...

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
With regards to why players should have to work to unlock Super Sonic in regular stages, I've always thought it would be fun to have special timed runs that only Super Sonic can realistically complete, which in turn further unlocks concept art, a soundtest, and other filler. I also like the idea of...

Re: A Dream
A couple times a month I dream that I've just woken up in an uncomfortable position and can't move anything but my eyes. Sleep paralysis , Wikipedia calls it. Usually there's also something going on, like wind blowing out the windows or someone breaking into my room. It used to freak me out, but no...

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages
Also, I'd like to see Special Stage-esque segments connecting each timeframe (i.e., each stage) to the next, particularly based upon Sonic 2 / Sonic Heroes's special stages. Could be fun. I wonder if they'll bring the Heroes-esque special stages over to the HD versions, like they're doing on 3DS. T...

I'd guess it means you're worried about wasting your time with things you have to do and missing out on the things that you want to do. These mundane things are keeping you from being social, but you're stuck doing them. Not only are you missing out on some fun stuff, but you're watching your life ...

Re: Shinobi is back
The new Shinobi reminds me of when I first saw videos for Sonic Rush. It's not the prettiest thing. Hopefully it plays well though. I don't have a huge amount of faith in "Griptonite" to make an above-average game...

Let's hope that guy's list is wrong (or maybe just the tip of the iceberg in stag............
Nah, I'm being way too optimistic. It's probably an accurate list, knowing Sega these days (Sonic Cycle, etc). But at least Episode II has some appeal again!

Re: A Dream
I'd shag Crisis's parents. Once I had a panic attack in a dream. Actually, I guess it would be more accurate to say that I had a panic attack as a result of the dream, because I woke up half way through and it kept on going until I calmed down. Unlike a "real-life" panic attack, which are generally ...

Re: A Dream
My friends were already out of the checkout line and there was a good chance they were going to leave me if I didn't hurry. I often find myself in a similar situation in dreams, where I'm going to be left behind if I don't get myself out of some absurd situation I'd never be in irl. I guess it's pr...

I'm sure they're looking at it as a way to advertise InFamous 2 and LBP2, but for the rest of them there's no sequels announced.
I think I'll get LittleBigPlanet and InFamous.

Re: Tell me about your tastes. . .
My B-list was pretty hard to make because I usually don't play games that aren't widely accepted as great games (I'm a sheep). I'm not sure if all these really qualify as being b-list entries, but here it is: Vexx (GC) Dokopon Kingdom (Wii) Road Rash 64 Tommy Lasorda Baseball (Gen/MD) DDR 5th Mix (a...
