Sonic Pasta~!

Post by Locit »

I don't know if anyone here remembers, but I once let drop that I was in possession of four (4) cans of Chef Boyardee Sonic the Hedgehog pasta. Well, moving back home at the end of this semester one of them ruptured (however slightly) at its cusp, spilling forth a minimal amount of its brownish, gooey contents. Nothing was permanently coated in what I am now referring to as "putrid, awful shit", but the opening was such that there's no way this can can ever be "fixed," not that anything really fixes a banged-up aluminum can. Anyways, I'm going to open the thing, take pictures of the process, and post them all here. In the meantime everyone start taking bets on whether or not any of the trademark Sonic pasta shapes have survived the past nine (9!) years of storage. I'll post the pics later tonight. Should be fun!

I think we should place bets on whether or not you're willing to eat the ruptured can of nine-year-old pasta.

I'd do it. Spaghetti-o's never go bad.

You took the cans of 9 year old Sonic Spaghetti-O's to college with you?

Yes, yes I did. I used them as bookends until someone gave me actual bookends!

What you really don't get an appreciation for is the smell. It was slightly reminiscent of pasta in the same way a long dead possum smells slightly like a living possum. It was actually so bad I couldn't stop laughing!

Well, I can no longer touch corporeal objects and had to possess someone to type this. Does that mean anything?

I see. So you wussed out.

On the bright side, the shapes seem to be intact. I can see Sonic in spin attack mode and the head-on Sonic face. But what do you intend to do with this baggie of "mature" pasta? I think that in nine years, that stuff may have achieved sentience, and all you've done is transferred it to a less durable prison.

Ah, Sonic pasta. I remember having that stuff everyday after school

I'd take shapes of Sonic's head out of the bowl, and place it on a napkin. I'd only eat Knuckles or Robotnik's heads becuase they were the "bad guys"

Nice BBQ grill you got there.

You should invite us over for a party sometime.

Or a casket, no less. Hell of an obituary, though.

"Here lies Locit, he died from eating Sonic the Hedgehog pasta that was ten years past it's sell date."

I smell apprehension. Sorry, Charlie, but there's a new belle at this ball.

There's still three more cans if you want a swig.

Can't argue with that (and I'm pretty sure I let it out once on how attracted I am to J-man).

What is this

I didn't win Mr. GHZ three years in a row to go un-noticed like this!
