You killed them to preserve the gene pool, yes?

Goddammit, now people are going to go pull up the second page of this topic, and the first thing they're going to read is "DackAttac wrote: I don't know why they just arbitrarily add black bars to block out the top and bottom of the picture."

And no, I just rendered them infertile with the nearest VHS tape. Hence the ban from that particular Hollywood Video.

I'm not kidding, the people who said fullscreen said, "Because you get more of the picture that way. I don't know why they just arbitrarily add black bars to block out the top and bottom of the picture."
Try working at Best Buy in south Louisiana and attempt to explain to rednecks that you get to see more of the picture despite the black lines. I didn't think it would've taken such a high propensity for lateral thought to comprehend. When I worked at Barnes & Ignoble, I didn't even try anymore. Everytime some fat, curly-haired, ignoramus of a 50-year old housewife said, "Fullscreen, please. I like to get the whole picture." I'd just be like, "Sure, we can order that for you. I hate you and I hate retail."

Of course, I don't work in retail anymore. And I NEVER. WILL. AGAIN.

Did you really? Where at?

Louisianians mean well, but y'know, so do gorillas. Inbreeding has done horrible, unspeakable things to the population and in the interest of human evolution, the whole state really should be eradicated. Mississippi and Alabama, too, and at least half of Texas.

But if we got rid of all those people, who would be left for us to feel superior towards?

People from third world countries. We can throw all of our saved No Child Left Behind money at them so that we can feel good about ourselves.

I worked at Mechacon. I thought it was that they were just being nice to those of us in the dealer's room, but at night I went to the game room and played some fighting games for a little while. It was really weird to not hear hardly any trash-talk. A couple of guys even shook my hand afterward...

Mechacon in Lafayette? Holy shit dude, that's exactly where I used to live. Did you happen to swing by Barnes & Ignoble by the Acadiana Mall? You might have seen me. I was the sexy one.

Incidentally, if people shook your hand, they probably got cow and/or sheep crap on it. I hope you washed.

No, I didn't get a chance to visit the mall or anything. I was stuck to mostly staying in the hotel and a few nearby restaurants for that weekend.

I thought there was a chance I'd see you there... but I would have no way to know what you looked like anyway.

The culture was a lot different than that of Michigan. For one thing, there were actual Mexican people working in the Mexican restaurant I went to.

I recall shaking the hand of the guy running the dealers' room and then eating french fries, without washing my hands in between. I think it cured my allergies.

Confirmed: lock-on titles not included. At all!
I'll answer this then… Sonic & Knuckles is not combinable with Sonic 2 or 3 in the collection I'm afraid.

Also Sonic CD is a Mega CD/SEGA CD game so perhaps it will materialise another time should SEGA do a compilation of games that were launched with the console add-ons. I'm sure lots of you would like a chance to play some of the 32X titles for instance.

Sonic CD is also available on the Sonic Gems Collection incidentally.
Source (although it appears to be down as of writing). Ngangibus pointed this out to me, so thanks to her for that.

I wasn't gonna buy this POS anyway, but, well, this takes the cake.

Why does SEGA of America keep hiring Backbone when previous complilations handled by them were sloppy?! Are they that talentless and cheap to put together a SEGA AGES complilation themselves?

And to answer Yami's question: yes.

The omission of lock-on is kind of baffling, but it's not like it matters. SMC+ is BC, and I think they're bringing it to Xbox originals as well (See tssz news). Knowing Sega, they probably lost their lock-on ROMs or something. I vaguely remember reading about some games (like Outrun?) not being ported to newer consoles yet because they don't have the code.

Is it just me, or is the rule of thumb on the internet seem to be "male until proven otherwise"?

^Only on certain types of message boards. I doubt the marriage, make-up tips, and new mothers forums have a vast majority of male members.

They lost ROMs they had like 5 years ago that are all over the internet?

Backbone is making this, the same guys who made Sonic Rivals. Probably just stupid.

I want to see what they put in the Sonic and Knuckles 'facts' section. Certainly they will mention the lock-on being so amazing?
