This new character looks like she's wearing sandles or flip-flops. The color of her ankels continues down into her shoes past the white rings.

Hopefully this doesn't bring back the Sonic characters having toes controversy.

It probably won't, seeing as they're closed-toe sandals (assuming they are, in fact, sandals). So unless she takes them off for some reason (which has NOT happened in any Sonic game to date, barring perhaps Ray and Darkspine), there shouldn't be any controversy to speak of.

Ray took his shoes off? Better yet, doesn't Big wear sandals?

Not intentionally, but they fall off when you fall into a pit.

He had toes. Debatably notable, that.

I think it was made perfectly clear with the SA1 official art that none of the characters have toes.

Yeah, but I don't think it's been seen in any games so far.

Big and Tikal have both been shown in games without toes.

Why the fuck does everyone talk about the stupid feet shit so often? It hardly matters.

Because talking about how much Sega has collapsed into pure awful gets old after a while. 'Sides, this is only, like, the second time I've seen it brought up - not often enough to be annoying.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a series of video games. Everything discussed about it is trivial.

In a million years there will probably be little to no trace left that the human race ever existed.

EVERYTHING we do is trivial. Fun, too.

That is so not true. We helped create more STD's.

My Japanese Sonic Adventure GD has a txt that only counts Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and knuckles and Sonic Jam as Sonic games. After that I guess we should count Sonic Adventure 2 and some others...

It's Arcade. Ignore him.

The mushroom stage still leaves much to be desired, but the yellow-clouded stage actually looks pretty nice, if a bit dreary.

Has anyone beside me noticed that we got normal badniks again? no more crapspawns.

Oh yeah! im liking this level! I hope it has good music too!

The mushroom level looks too simplistic, mario-like even! maybe it was an inside joke?

New information couresty of IGN for Sonic Rush Adventure.

http://ds.ign.com/articles/787/787439p1.html

Apparently, it looks like Sonic and Blaze are the only playables again(Nether Tails nor the new Coon girl are confirmed for playable, but we'll see what surprised they'll throw at us), the gameplay is similar to Sonic Rush and they even enjoyed the sailing from one area to another.

This seems more like an innovative 2D Sonic game compared to previous 2D games.

1) Insert Sonic Adventure (Japanese) in your Cd-Rom reader of your computer.

2) You will notice a txt file in the GD disk directory, open it.

3) The txt mentions the videogames Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic Jam.

It probably means storylines like the ones used in Spinball, 3D Blast, and R are not canon-ical, and not considered part of the official story, and chronology of the Sonic franchise.

The "true" storylines of the Sonic games are of the Genesis originals, and the Adventure series, as those were all done by Sonic Team. I think SEGA and traveler's Tales were the ones behind stuff like Spinball, 3D Blast, R, and such.

Just my opinon.

(Although it is strange they would fail to mention Sonic CD. It is a pivotal game in the series, introducing both Amy Rose and Metal Sonic..)
