well. . .now isn't that something. The new outfit I can live with. The fleshy fleshy head is bothering me slightly though. A bad Sonic game breaks my spirit. A bad Nights game will break my heart.

This is pretty wild. It's one thing to anticipate a new Sonic game because I can think back on Heroes and 2K6 to keep from getting excited, but my experience with NiGHTS is 100% good, albeit about a decade old. I can only imagine the wind up ahead.

Are there screenshots to be found anywhere, or do we just get the one big splash?

Like the new design. Like it a lot.

But what's with the air flute?

And before you ask how i was right on so many occasions, i was extremely lucky. And if my luck still holds true now, Shenmue III should see a 2008 release on the X360, and NiGHTS Into Fantasies will come out late 2007 for both Wii and DS.
Is it too early to bring up something i said around this time last year and start stroking my e-penis again?

I'll stroke it.

And if and when Shenmue 3 is confirmed we shall move on to virtual fellatio.

I think it's gotten to the point now where if Shenmue III were to be announced I would probably weep.

I was wondering when we would get more confirmation... This looks to be the most concrete we've seen in ages.

That said, the new vest/sleeves/etc. look kinda weird, but then, so did Sonic's Adventure redesign when it first came out. I hope they don't botch this up, but the formula was simple enough to begin with - all that really has to be done is make new levels. And this time make it more than 7.

And include the original one so I don't feel AS bad for leaving the Saturn at home (though I'll still feel bad about leaving Guardian Heroes back there). Heck, fuse it with Christmas NiGHTS (the extra Spring Valley course included), that's how it should've been from the get-go anyway.

He's always had the air flute, so, uh... that's what's with it.

... Other then I don't think there is any rational explanation for it.

They'd better reveal NiGHTS' gender this time.

Man, seeing NiGHTS on a magazine cover really reminds you of what a totally unmarketable character he is, doesn't it?

Oh yeah, he's camp as Christmas. Did the first game actually sell any copies?

Well, I bought one, and I guess GG! did since he wrote a bunch of stuff on it or something...

So yeah. Two copies.

That is a Swedish Mag that you get free at game. Haven't seen it yet though.

It says:
NIGHTS
Sega's dream demon returns.

It's interesting that Sega have chosen to gradually reveal the new NiGHTS through obscure European magazines as opposed to showcasing it at a major industry event. It suggests that the title wont be aimed at a mainstream audience.

So does the outfit signify NiGHTS was promoted to the King of Dreams or something after the first game? Making him a friendlier, cutesier version of Neil Gaiman's Sandman?

Also, has it been confirmed for the Wii?

Actually, it looks more like NiGHTS is borrowing clothes from the King of Cosmos now.

No such confirmation has been offered yet, but Sega has asked said Swedish Magazine to take down the image. You know, to try and keep things hush-hush. On the internet.

IIRC, this is the same magazine that recieved some news and shots of Halo 3 before EGM even though that later magazine hyped the news as a "world-wide exclusive". So I guess this magazine isn't that obscure, and we already know the Halo franchise is pretty popular among the gaming mainstream.

The pictures would be telling enough, honestly. I mean, it's not like they have anything particularly to translate in those, do they? The HUD of the original doesn't really have any words in it, either way.

Would someone be able to fabricate such a thing?
