Other.

Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram is the finest fighting game I have ever played. The Power Stone series is a runner up.

I refuse to vote in this poll being that you have neglected to include an entry for Strata's seminal Time Killers, the standard by which all other fighting games should be judged.

Maybe you can explain this to me. I've never understood why some people perfer Power Stone over SSBM. I just don't get it.

I like Power Stone better than SSBM, because it feels so outlandish, yet with a firm grasp of what a 3-D fighter should be.

... Well, arguments aside, Ishiwatari announced they are working on a new installment of Guilty Gear. I don't believe it's Dust Devils or the beat 'em up one for the PSP either. I hope it's X3.

I like Street Fighter the best. Second would be Smash Bros., then the VS. games from Capcom, then Dead or Alive.

SSBM is first? But... but. It has percentages instead of HP! Surely you people can see that this is morally wrong

Percentages allways lie. Soul Calibur is obviously the best. Such a range and depth. All of human emotion in contained within.

This is, of course, to say nothing of the superlative Killer Instinct, the very model of beauty in motion and one of the finest pieces of interactive literature created in the last century.

I must also nominate the oft overlooked Street Fighter: The Movie game, a triumph of programming and creative design, based on the equally resplendent theatrical movie.

I'm afraid if I begin singing the praises of Rise of the Robots, the spiritually reverent tones in my voice will be skewed by the orgasmic fits the mere thought of such a fantastic milestone in interactive media will send me into.

I appreciate Virtua Fighter the most, so I voted for it. I'm not very good at it; Virtua Fighter 2 consistently bests me, and brutally I might add.

But it's an awesome game nonetheless.
