You're not a game nerd...
...but this guy is.
That is the most games I've ever seen in my entire life. If I didn't know that was the inside of someone's house, I'd mistake it for a videogame store.
I don't know whether I want to rob the guy or let him fuck me.
(Found this on the IC forums, don't know if you guys have seen it already... If you have... Well, fuck off then.)

How about both?Squirrelknight wrote: I don't know whether I want to rob the guy or let him fuck me.
Also, I want that Mario phone. It is clearly the pinnacle of human civilization.

I've played on one of those things. The local Sam's had a demo unit for one years and years ago. I was pretty young and had no idea what it was, but there were two terrible Zelda games for it. Controlling them was awful with that damned track ball.
Come to think about it, I should consider myself lucky for actually being one of those few people that played those Zelda games, even considering how bad they were.

There were three, actually... one Link game and two games actually starring Zelda.I was pretty young and had no idea what it was, but there were two terrible Zelda games for it.

There were only two games at my demo unit, and one of them starred Link. I remember being confused because I thought Zelda games were supposed to be good.
Also, the loading screen had a picture of Link in the same style as that Zelda image GG! just posted. He had the most dumbass-retarded facial expression ever (it seriously looked like a mentally retarded Link that was high on drugs and looking at furry porn). My brother and I found more entertainment laughing at that loading screen than trying to negotiate the track ball.

"The Faces of Evil", indeed.
They have more screenshots here, plus screens of Hotel Mario and a link to screens of Mario Wacky Worlds, which was never released.
Apparently Philips got the rights to the Nintendo licenses as compensation for Nintendo having broken off their SNES CD deal.

"Boy, I'm so hungry I can eat an Octorok!"
I really wish I could find that site that had movie clips of the CDi Zelda games. I mean if you thought the screenshots were awful, you should see the FMV in action. Bad animation, Link saying awful lines to go with his awful voice, Ganon's defeat in the first two games, pure hilarity.

I was watching G4 a couple weeks back when they did a show on the Zelda series, and they showed the CD-i Zeldas. The thing looked liked rehab patients drew it-- There wasn't a single straight line in the whole clip, and everyone kept twitching.
I understand why Nintendo refuses to accept that those games exist. I wish I could do the same and repress those memories.

Sounds like an episode of Ed, Edd n' Eddy, let alone an actual game.Squirrelknight wrote:I was watching G4 a couple weeks back when they did a show on the Zelda series, and they showed the CD-i Zeldas. Mind you the FMV was seriously hammed.
I still say it's a "spot the balls" picture so here's my guess...
This guy put it best, methinks.
