If Sonic Team went really hardcore on this project, then I would like to see at least a working demo of X-treme, after all, they do have one (and only one on the planet) working and complete PC version of the game out there, but alas, my dream will never come true...
Didn't they at least have the bosses finished? I'd like to see how they were. I'm willing to bet money that the Metal Sonic boss in X-treme is heaps better then the Heroes version.
I was under the impression that there was, at some point, a reasonably playable PC build of the game. Wasn't that in one of those interviews with one of the Sonic Xtreme staff awhile back?
SegaSonic Arcade is the only one I care about. All the others can be emulated or found on Ebay. My second choice would be Fighters, since the rom of that isn't too good. As long as they have that, I'll gladly take anything else.
The pico games will never be ported. The Pico interface is too complicated to mimic without a mouse. And since nobody seems interested in making a Pico emulator, it looks like ebay is the only way to play those games.

DID I NOT JUST SAY THIS IN MY LAST POST?!?!?!
How you guys miss these details is beyond me!

They couldn't even emulate a Sega CD let alone a Saturn, and even the best Saturn emulators out there are nowhere near perfect. So I really do not see Saturn games in this let alone a Sega Model 2 arcade game, unless they really are going to port them the right way.
AM2 have already ported VF2 to the Playstation 2, so I doubt it would be unreasonable to port Sonic the Fighters, as it runs on the same Model 2 base engine (I believe Model 2B hardware is only a slight enhancement). However if not included in Gems Collection it's no big loss; the game is merely a dumbed-down VF or Fighting Vipers except with Sonic.
At the very least, Sega must be capable to emulate a Sega CD correctly for this compilation pack to be any good. The unending callings for Sonic CD are growing tiresome to my ears.
