I think the Power Base Converter plays Master System games on the Mega Drive.

Sonic: Genesis would win the worst Sonic game award.

Crud, seems that this post was the exact same as the other one. Fine, so in a bogus attempt to save it, here's an idea: ask what consoles people own out of the current generation. Pretty basic, but still.

Options are obvious, but I'll list them anyway:
 • None
 • Wii
 • 360
 • PS3
 • Wii and 360
 • Wii and PS3
 • 360 and PS3
 • All three
 • Obligatory "pie" option
Yeah.

Isn't S&K what's between the Game Genie and the Power Base Converter?

One suggestion..

Character(s) you'd never want to see in a Sonic game again (you can think of a 'cooler' title)

-Silver
-Cream
-Shadow
-Amy
-Big
-The Babylon Rogues
-The Chaotix

(i'd like to put Knuckles on this list, since he hasn't really added anything to the story since Sonic 3/Knuckles, he's just always 'showed up' but i reckon he's well-liked around here, so i'll leave him out.)

You should do a poll on how Gibbon! is gay. HAHAHAHA!

Or y'know...best game where you play as a half-vampire nazi-killing chick.

I'd suggest how optimistic / pessimistic we are for Secret Rings.

You've gone beyond quirky and into trolling. Stop it.

Wait, how was that trolling? It was just a suggestion...granted, not a GOOD one, but it was all I could think of.

Unless, of course, she was replying to Isambard, and not you.

Of course, then she'd probably explicitly say his name, but never mind that.

Anyway:

Would you like to see a Sonic movie?
 • Totally, I'd hit that!
 • It's possible that it could be good, so sure.
 • Eh, I'm on the fence about it.
 • I'd rather wait for the games to be better first.
 • Chances are it'd be terrible, like most VG-to-film adaptations, so no.
 • HELL no.
 • Other

I was talking to Bard. When I typed my post Yami's post wasn't there and I didn't double check afterwards.

You should add a 'chances are it'd be terrible, but i'd see it anyway becuase it's Sonic.' option.

But those people are fucking retards and the reason Sega's gotten away with letting the franchise go to shit for three games in a row.

Oh come on, even if it was terrible, you'd still see it. Hell, we'd all see it. It's Sonic. On the big-screen.

As much as we hate the recent Sonic games such as Shadow and 2K6, we all have played them, (if we have the systems) and then bitch about them later. Same goes with the film. I garauntee you should a movie come out, all of us will have seen it at least once. We are Sonic fans after all.

I skipped Shadow, thanks. And only rented 2K6. :p

I "checked out" Shadow from GameStop while I was working there (where "checked out" equates to a free, four-day rental allowed to all GameStop employees - no, I'm serious, they really let you do it), and my Dad rented 2K6, so technically, I haven't supported either game at all.

I did pick up Heroes, though, but within the past year, because the PC version was a fiver. That said, I do enjoy it (although I've never played it to completion, so my opinion probably will rapidly change), but recognize all of its flaws - flaws that were somewhat excusable then, but flat-out inexcusable now, four years later.

Yeah, that kinda pisses me off. I bought a brand new copy of Chromehounds, the only one they had in the store and it was opened. I was talking to the guy about the game and he basically indirectly told me he took my copy home the night before and played it.

As for Sonic fandom, I haven't bought a Sonic game since Heroes, and hadn't actually played any of them until 2K6 came out. My curiosity got the best of me and I rented 2k6 from Blockbuster and beat it over Thanksgiving break. Not sure why my curiosity got the best of me since I had already played the terrible demo, but whatever. I don't really regret it, wasn't all bad. I did actively stop supporting Sonic after Heroes though, before that I'd buy anythng with a Sonic Team logo on it.

The most recent Sonic game i've bought was Heroes.
I've rented Shadow and Riders. Riders was pretty a good product
all-around. The graphics were finally an upgrade to the
poorer-than-Dreamcast character models of Heroes and Shadow. Difficult, but still fun. The only thing I liked about Shadow was the lava shelter level, and the animation on the CG cutscenes.

As much flak as 2K6 is getting, I still want to play it, if only for the feature-quality CG cutscenes, and some of the levels look damn pretty.

The GHZ's 10th aniversary is coming. What should we do?
 • Start a topic about it.
 • Ignore it.
 • Make it a simple family reunion, with cake.
 • Throw a birthday party at Chuck n' Cheese.

In so far as it is possible, yes. But I hate Chuckie Cheese's. Let's reopen the Discovery Zone!

Someone do it. Make the poll about polls. Let us meta-poll.
