Cheese and crackers are the perfect compliment towards each other. They strike a wonderful, yet delicate balance, not unlike that of Yin and Yang. If there is too little cheese, the dryness of the cracker ruins the taste; and if there is too little cracker, one suffers the starchy aftertaste of the cheese. They must work together as equals to successfully win over the taste buds.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are pretty good, too, especially with ham.

Dang, I thought this was about liking Cheese the Chao, which I do nonetheless.
I prefer goats cheese, but I'm pretty biased as I work with it a lot.
But why isn't Edam up there? I can eat whole wedges of that shit, no problem.

Cheese is the fucking nuts. Stick it on a cracker, pour me a glass of red and already I feel like a posh twat. You can get this really tasty crumbly stuff with cranberries, and it's so good you'd cry if you ate it. To be honest, though, I'll eat any kind except "American" (read: shite) and bleu; staring all that mould in the face is really unsettling.

Port Salut ftw.

That reminds me, we got a delivery of Blue Stilton but head office recalled all of it, because it was mouldy of all things.
Utter bullshit.

Grilled cheese + french fries = best meal ever.

True. We can never make them correctly at home, though; bread always seems to taste funny. Dunno why.

Got to be something you're screwing up preparing or cooking it with, I can make them perfect every time with as little effort as necessary.

On the other hand...what is it about toaster ovens that can never cook frozen fries well at all? I put them in at the recommended temperature same as I do with the oven, cook them the exact same way, and they still come out too soft. I have the same problem with crinkle cut fries no matter what I heat them up in, and I know i'm not doing anything wrong with those.

Homemade fries by their very nature are terrible. They are reheated pieces of shite, with none of the charm of their tasty, freshly fried brethren.

I guess you've only ever eaten oven fries at home, right?

We do fresh fries at work, straight from the potato. They turn out much better than the shit from fast-food outlets.

Yeah, see, fries aren't supposed to be baked, they're supposed to be fried. Hence the name. I make my own every once in awhile, and they come out pretty tasty.

Grilled cheese sandwiches + a nice, hot bowl of chili = classic comfort food ♥

I eat fries in an oven. They honestly aren't that bad. Then again, exposure to a certain way of eating food for nearly 17 years will create some sort of personal bias..

It's at least healthier than McDonald's or Burger King's fries, at any rate.

McDonalds fries aren't even potatoes. I don't know what they are, but they aren't potatoes.

You say that as though it were a positive thing.

The meat at KFC isn't really chicken meat. That's why they had to change their name to KFC, 'cause the government wouldn't let them advertise in their name that their meat is made of chicken. It's actually meat taken off of a big, mutant, man-made animal.

This is truth; I read it in American Gods.

There's stuff less healthy than McDonald's food. Can't name anything off the top of my hand, but it's not the bottom of the barrel. Pretty damn close ,though.

I remember going to this restaurant in town a while ago, some "Philidelphia Style" sub shop. Did pizza, too, so I decided to opt for that instead. Big mistake. Turned out that their pizza literally tastes like regurgitation. Not kidding.

So, yeah, at least McDonald's is somewhat palatable. Their chicken sandwiches were better before this "Premium" crap, though. Better buns.

I like those blocks of cheese with the hot pepper shavings in them. Mmm. That's some good stuff. Spicy and cheesy.
