I understand that it's exactly the same as Yummy Mummy.
But Fruit Brute had lime marshmallows whereas Mummy had vanilla. Plus, the colors were different. SO SHUTUP.

Dinersaurs had a very distinct flavor, just the same way that Froot Loops has a distinct flavor from Trix. I really dug it. It was from Quaker, and they've had some very similar cereals since then, one with a space theme I think and a more recent one with a sea life theme. I don't think the dinosaur pasta was ever called "Dinersaurs", though Quaker did release some other stuff (cookies and shit) under the Dinersaurs label.
I miss that cereal that's like shredded wheat or some other sort of thing, only it's stuffed with a dried up jam-like substance that's supposed to be "fruit."
Was that the stuff that was advertised in a commercial where some kid was hounding this unseen wizard in a tall tower and telling him all sorts of stuff and the wizard always replies "I know" until the kid finally asks him how they get the fruit filling in the wheat and the wizard's like, "I... don't know." What was that stuff called? They had a similar sort of cereal in the early 90's called Hidden Treasures or something like that.

Remember Bonkers? That old lady and the falling fruit used to creep me out.

Bonkers was an awesome candy! It had a stronger fruit flavor than Starburst ever had. I was peeved when they discontinued it. =(

Also they need to bring back Tart and Tangy Skittles and Peanut Butter Snickers.

When I was in kindergarten, my mom used to give me a Bonkers candy every day when she dropped me off at school.

That was the same sort of stuff, I don't remember what it was called, except for Kellogg's Raisin Squares, which obviously only came in raisin.

I remember Bonkers, but now what I'm thinking of is the commercials they used to do for Candelicious(?) Bubblegum where they had this long snake chasing the gun around, like in the Far Side cartoon where one is swallowing the baby ducklings as they go across the street. It was really sureal. And it gets you biting off more than you can chew, apparently.

I voted for Chocula, because it's the only one I've actually tried.

For about 10 years between 1990 and 2000, it was the only damn one you could find anywhere. Frank and Boo have been back in action recently, though, and it warms my heart. I would like to see them in some new animated commercials.

For some reason, this line makes me giggle. I mean chuckle. Yeah, chuckle.

Anyway, I liked Boo Berry. I tried the three revived monster cereals them last Halloween, and have found that I like Boo Berry the most.

King Vitaman rules them all.

I actually only just tried King Vitaman for the first time a few months ago. There was not nearly enough sugar. It's one of those cereals I don't think kids ever ask for, your mom just buys it for you. It's no wonder it's so hard to find.

And then when you don't eat it and later ask for a box of Lucky Charms, your mom is all like: "No, because you didn't eat the last box of cereal I bought you." And then you're all like, "But I'll eat this one!" And she's like, "No more cereal until you eat the last box. We're not rich enough for you to be wasting food like that." And then you're all like, "Please! I really will eat this one, I promise!" And she's all, "This discussion is over." And you're all, "But!" And she's all, "Don't you talk back to me."

Cereal buying was very traumatic for me as a child.

Cereal's actually quite expensive. This is something I've known for a long time but has only really registered recently.

Yeah, no kidding. No wonder my mom always made us eat oatmeal. If I was her I'd have made us eat oatmeal, too.

I only just recently started buying the non-brand knockoffs. I can tell the difference but the savings are worth it!

So, I can't find Boo Berry anywhere, but I know I've seen it recently! Was it just some sort of Halloween special?

By the way, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the breakfast of champions and the blood that flows through Olympic atheletes.

I've actually always had a hard time with Cap'n Crunch and Froot Loops for mouth shredding. Not with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, though.

You can't put a price on ART, inexecrable dog. Furthermore, your kung-fu is weak and I fart in your general direction.
Was it just some sort of Halloween special?
It was when they first revived it a few years ago, but I think you can get it pretty much whenever now.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling sacrilegious, I mix Boo Berry and Frankenberry. I tried adding Chocula to make it a threesome once, but that turned out to be a very bad idea.

Chocula's just a prima donna that way.
