The hell's a Genesis? I owned a Megadrive :p

But yeah, total Sega / Sonic fanboy back in the day. Hated Nintendo then Sony with a crazy passion.

I was a Sega kid as well back in the day, although there was hardly a schoolyard split for me: I'm quite sure that every single guy in my class (and even a couple of the girls) had Mega Drives. Perhaps such figures explain how PAL Land missed out on some of the best SNES games.

You know... I just remembered a time when I was making fun of a few friends who had the SNES version of Mortal Kombat, because their version didn't have blood like my precious Genesis version.

...

Thank God I grew up.

Mortal Kombat on SNES still sucks, though.

Mortal Kombat is pretty sucky on the whole though, the second one's pretty good but that's about it.

I was that close to murdering my cousin for his Sega Genesis. No, not really, but I did spend an inordinate amount of time at his place since my parents were unwilling to invest into such rubbish as electronic toys.

Yup. Sega Genesis.
