I don't understand how to change the outcome of the fight. I even tried throwing pistols into the arena, but they just kinda bounced off an invisible barrier into my lap.

He didn't really even talk about guns. He just talked about social injustice and empathized more with the criminals then with the victims. The few times he did empathize with the victims he held the wrong people accountable: Wal-Mart, Heston, etc. The basic premise of the movie was socialist propoganda disguised as a documentary about America's fascination with firearms. Pretty dishonest if you ask me.
