They also emulated Panzer Dragoon for Orta on the Xbox.

If, like Virtua Fighter, the PS2 version of Sonic the Fighters is a port as opposed to an emulated game (and the presence of an ‘arcade mode’ option strongly suggests this), then does this mean Sega haven’t lost the source code of the Sonic games (or is AM2 just more organised than Sonic Team)?

If it is a port then I hope for the addition of a few new features. At the very least I’d like to see some extra characters even if they only function as alternative costumes.

Dialogue scenes that flesh out the story of Sonic’s battle in between each round would make a neat extra. Detailed character profiles on each of the fighters would suffice if adding cut-scenes proved to be too bothersome for Sonic Team (so long as they use them to explain the presence of the eighth Chaos Emerald).

^_^

Naka seems to have some prejudice against CD because he wasn't involved in it.

Well, think of Genesis as Fight Club and CD as Project Mayhem.

That's a myth.

Well... I believe Sega must be capable to emulate Sega CD and Model2 correctly, even because we're all able to do it with Gens and Nebula emulators. Who here never played Sonic the Fighters?

I never played Sonic the Fighters…they never sold the Saturn here. (Yes, there was a Saturn port, I have screenshots of it in a magazine).

Irony, how the heck I was supposed to play a game that’s so weird to find. Don’t you get it?.
