Looking at what Sonniku wrote about the game being like Shinobi, maybe a katana/ beam sword/ chaos energy sword thingy may have fit the bill better than the gun.

Even so, wouldnt Espio be more fitting for a Shinobi type game?

That'd be really easy to fake, but who knows.

Faked. The logo is ripped right from the video and stuck on top, it has the same background behind it and everything.

Besides, they'd never cover up the GUN with the logo. That gun is the whole selling point!

The art, of course, IS real though. Just not the box mockup.

Then we'll never hear of it again until years later when fan sites troll after production members and get detailed accounts of Yuji flying in from Japan to anally rape them for their grievances.
I pray.

It WAS on page 3, but apparently the host site killed it.

What's with the fang?!

And SegaSonic's edit of the mock-up box is almost meaningful, as the shape of the gun can still be seen. You can remove the gun from the game, but the fact that it at one point existed will forever scar our memories.

Or something corny like that.

I knew they weren't going to make a Tails game. Yet, somehow, I'm still disappointed.

It seems like Sega is coming up with random Sonic game formulas... I don't think I'll live long enough for them to stumble onto the one I want.

The more I see that pistol, the better that Ico idea sounds.

There's some debate going on as to whether this is using the SA2 or Heroes engine. It didn't even occur to me that it might not be Heroes' engine until I read the current frontpage entry. On closer inspection of the trailer (and it really does hurt to watch it), I'm increasingly of the opinion that it might be SA2's engine after all, although the model animations look more like Heroes...

Youre Right Im a Fucktard, Ill stop.

Could be the SA2 engine since its one Character only, but What I dont get is, why the Heroes Model?

must be that is an early view of the game, if not theyre lazy.

Well, excuse me, but I'm a little late this party... So allow me to get my spam in:

THIS IS THE DUMBEST FUCKING thing I'VE EVER HEARD ABOUT, and this is coming from a guy that listens to Japanese rap.

...

...Why the fuck does he have a gun? He never needed a gun before... And why the fuck is it a realistic gun? If you have to give him a gun, give him an Egg Blaster looking thing. WHY?! Does Shadow also kill hookers? Does he steal cars? Is he going to get a wisecracking robot sidekick?

And I don't really care if it uses the Heroes or the Adventure 2 engine, cause either way, that game (graphically) looks much worse than either of them. It looks like a goddamn Nintendo 64 game.

Sonic Team is dead to me now. I can't wait to see what "innovations" they use to fuck up PSU and whatever other games they have in development.

Alright. Any suggestions for what the Green Hill Zone should be turned into? Mario site? Capcom? Pokemon? Team Ico doesn't have enough of a base just yet.

Let's abandon ship before "Reala the Nightmare in: Blood Rape Fury Cock Crack" is released.

No, the GHZ is the official tombstone of Sonic the Hedgehog. Unless there's a miracle and the next official Sonic game is great, you can pretty much stick a fork in the franchise.
