Sonic X-Treme almost gave us this X-Treme version of Metal Sonic.

That looks terrible.

Am I the only one who thinks Sonic Xtreme did not look like a very good game? I mean, it had stuff like this.

It looks like it would've been similar to Bubsy 3-D, to be honest.

So, yeah. We dodged a bullet with Xtreme being cancelled (and what a lame title that is, by the way) and Sonic's death was prolonged a few more years.

He created this concept art which ended up being scrapped, and was added to his online scrapbook at http://www.senntient.com Besides not looking anything like Metal Sonic, he also has no hands, instead are drills or missiled in their place."

No good could have come from game where the character designers think it would be a good idea to make Metal Sonic a red humanoid robot with drills for hands that has no resemblence to Sonic and lacks the distinctive red eyes.

If it wasn't supposed to be Metal Sonic, it would be pretty cool. And even as Metal Sonic, it is a better design then that "Overlord" nonsense in Heroes.

It's cute when crazy fanboys keep on screaming out and telling everbody "Man, Sonic Xtreme would've been the BEST THING EVER! If Sonic Xtreme had been published - we'd be playing the Dreamcast 2 RIGHT NOW!"

XD

What's probably even more useless is counting the useless posts. You're counting... nothingness.

Phhht, counting..? It wasn't hard to figure out, there's currently 96 replies and each page holds 25. Simple, really.

This creation, created by Chris Senn, was meant to be Metal Sonic Mach 3 for the game Sonic X-Treme.
...
Metal Sonic Mach 3
Mach number(mäk)
n. (Abbr. M)
The ratio of the speed of an object to the speed of sound in the surrounding medium. For example, an aircraft moving twice as fast as the speed of sound is said to be traveling at Mach 2.

[After Ernst MACH.]

MARK (märk)
n.
1. A visible trace or impression, such as a line or spot.
2. A sign, such as a cross, made in lieu of a signature.
3. A written or printed symbol used for punctuation; a punctuation mark.
4. a) A number, letter, or symbol used to indicate various grades of academic achievement: got a mark of 95 instead of 100.
b) An appraisal; a rating. Often used in the plural: earned high marks from her superiors.
~
7. c) Mark A particular mode, brand, size, or quality of a product, especially a weapon or machine.
etc

People make me sad.
